Remember my husband got me the mothers ring with Aprils birthstone I told my doc no going over!! LOL

Abbie, you're getting a c-section, right? Is it scheduled after your due date? I thought that they like to schedule those things before the due date so there would be less of a chance you'd go into labor. I guessed you because yours is scheduled and I thought it would be scheduled early!

punkeemunkee'smom replied: I am scheduled the day after my due date. That was our choice since my doctor only does scheduled surgeries on Tuesdays and Fridays and the 2 weekends before that one he would only be on call through Friday night and off Saturday and Sunday...We had the other OB with Taylor and we just really don't like him So we are just hoping we go all the way to 40 weeks and can have our doctor the whole time in the hospital. We didn't go for a Tuesday since that would put Bill at home all week while I was in the hospital and it works out better if he takes off the weekend and then the 10 days after....that is the plan anyway! As my OB says IF this baby girl decides she is done baking...she will come no matter what date you pick

Ahh Ok I gotcha. I totally understand wanting your own doctor! I was lucky with Andrew and went into labor on a weekend that our OB was on call, and Allie was induced on a day she was there. I think the other doctors at my OB clinic are nice, but it's nice to have the person you've been seeing for 9 months do the actual delivering. Hopefully she will just stay put in there for you then! I have a special knack for going over my due date... want me to pass some of my ability on to you?
