Why does my child
mckayleesmom wrote: feel the need to strip in the middle of the night and act completely suprised by the fact that she peed all over herself and her bed? She always crys out for me and when I go in there she says ..."mommy, Im wet"......."Yes Mckaylee...you are...thats why we don't take our diapers off, you call mommy if you need it changed". I think she thinks that there is a catheder fairy out there somewhere.
booey2 replied: She is too funny. Sounds like something that Thomas would do.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Been there done that!!! Try putting on her diaper backwards! She will figure it out soon enough but you may get a few nights rest in the meantime!!!
mommy_loves_chase replied: lol that is too funny although i dont think i would wanna clean that up
luvbug00 replied: Cathider fairy!! your both soo funny!!
A&A'smommy replied: OH lol I'm SOO glad Alyssa doesn't do that... well at least not at night LOL that Mckaylee, she is too funny!!
MM'sMama replied: LMBO girl you both kill me . but I agree turn it backwards maybe get a few nights good sleep. Good luck
mammag replied: Poor baby! She's probably gets so stressed about it and doesn't even connect the reasoning! Turning the diaper backwards is a great idea!
julesmom replied: We went thru that here too.
Sounds like your dd is getting ready to potty train soon!
jacobsmama replied: Hehhe Sorry not funny. I know alot of kids who have went through that. She is probably going to be ready for the big girl potty before you know it!!
mckayleesmom replied: She is already potty training during the day and she has long since figured out the whole...backwards diaper trick...she figured that one out at 1. I have also put sleepy jammies on backwards and she can get out of that too.
MommyToAshley replied: LOL! Silly girl! (And smart too!)
Ashley used to strip in protest of sleep, not because she had to potty. If she didn't want to go to sleep she would take all her clothes off and call for me. LOL! At least I didn't have the mess to clean up. The backwards diapers never worked for her either. I did try onsies for awhile because it was hard for her to unsnap them, but she eventually figured that out too.
Hang in there, just like all stages, she will eventually outgrow it. Hopefully,
julesmom replied: I just remembered what we did with dd. We had to put a onesie on her. The ones that snap under the butt. She couldn't get the snaps undone and so she couldn't get her diaper off anymore!
mckayleesmom replied: she has that down too..unfortunantley.
luvbug00 replied: What about a leotard? just a plain one to wear at night? kinda silly but there is nothing to un snap. an onsie w/ out snappies.
ammommy replied: Two word---duct tape Really, a friend had to resort to this and it worked.
gr33n3y3z replied: lol that was in the duct tape book
