Why is it???
MyLuvBugs wrote: That when DH is sick, I'm supposed to baby him....take care of EVERYTHING....and be at his beckandcall??? Yet when I'm sick.....I'm still required to take care of everything?? Even when I ask him for help he says he's got stuff to do, or he's tired..... HELLO!!!! I can't breathe through my nose and have a pounding headache ontop of an achy body and a cough that feels like my lungs are exploding.....but he's tired so that's apparently all that matters. Grrrrrr..... Men Suck! (Sorry guys) I think next time he's sick I'm TOTALLY going to just ignore him and see how he likes it.
gr33n3y3z replied: good idea to ignore him next time
My3LilMonkeys replied: No advice but I hope you feel better soon!!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Yes... I don't baby dh anymore. If he's sick... so what. When I'm sick, I still do my stuff.. so he has to as well.
luvmykids replied: It is SUCH a guy thing, no offense to the guys here, but I don't know a single man who is the exception to this rule
coasterqueen replied: I hope you get feeling better soon.
I must admit, in our relationship it's the opposite. I expect him to take care of me but I don't take care of him.
mummy2girls replied: lol... Men are babies whenthey are sick(sorry guys). we can walk around with pneumonia and still take care of the kids, hubby and house. but if hubby is sick with the sniffles he thinks he is dieing...LOL. Marcus was recently sick and he moaned and groaned and whined and took afew days off work for a cold He even admitted that he is a BIG BABY when he is sick and asked if i can handle that from a guy...LOL...
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I'm sorry Erika. I'm lucky I guess my Dh tries to help me all he can when I'm sick. I usually could use the most help during the day when he's at work so I still end up taking care of everything by myself, but when he's home he takes care of me. I hope you feel better soon!
redchief replied: No offense taken Erika. When I'm sick I generally just want to be left alone. I try to be helpful and all when Lisa's sick, but sometimes I fall a bit short in that area. I wasn't always that thoughtful even, and I have the meatloaf missle story to prove it.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Hope you feel better soon Erika.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Oh please share!!!!!
skinkybaby replied: That sucks. My husband babies me to no end when I'm sick so I really don't have any advice for you
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Yes, Ed. Please do share the missle meatloaf story. It sounds intriguing.
