We did that to different parts of our home last year (new sheetrock, taping mudding, new ceiling, ect). I HATED it after a few day, but I LOVE the outcome!!!

hard part is finding one thats in liveable condition, that has the style we like.

I've been doing the same thing but I'm taking it really slowly. So far I have 6 of the walls in the living room painted and I've got the trim all done. Two more walls to go in that room then on to the next one. At the rate I'm going, it will be early 2007 when I'm done.
