Wil's "big boy" room - pics inside

what is that wood bed guard rail thing called? I wanted to get something like that for Jay, but I had no idea what its called and where to get it? Is it a top bunk bed?

Yes, it's a top bunk bed rail. So it came as a set when we purchased the bed. I like that it matches, plus it's nice and sturdy. He sleeps with his head pressed up to it!

Edie, they sell the guard rails for toddler/single beds at just about any store... Walmart, Kmart, Target, Babies R Us. I haven't seen any wood ones, they are usually a padded metal frame with mesh netting. I found them in the baby section by the cribs. Just be sure to measure your bed first, there are different sizes.

Thanks DeeDee, I did get one at Target for Jason's big boy bed....Its blue and white and its sort of mesh between the metal

anyway, I like the look of the wood that matches the wood bed frame. We got Jason a wood bed frame too, but since I didn't order a top bunk, they didn't offer the wood side rail.
