Would this set the twins back? - Goodnights - Maybe TMI
loveydad wrote: The twins have really bad diareah (sorry, sp) with this flu and Tracy does too. She's been wearing pullups for the most part, do you think it would be bad to put her in diapers until she's over it? Those things are so hard to pull off!! It would be easier for me.
Also the twins are in underwear of course, but would it be okay to put them in goodnights? They can't control it and I don't want them ruining all their underwear and I thought maybe this would make it easier for them to change.
Sorry TMi I know but I was just wondering - I odnt' want t o set them back or anything but they're too sick to have to worrry about this stuff.
alice&arik replied: I don't think that it would set them back especially if they are sick. About the pull-ups, can't you just rip them at the sides? That is what I did with Arik if he pooped in them. I went back to diapers at naptime because they are cheaper, actually I just get the generic ones. But he doesn't seem to care.
loveydad replied: Yes but it's more difficult than a diaper - see that's my other problem right now, Ishe's going through a pullup every hour or more or maybe a little longer, and pullups are EXPENSIVE. The goodnights are something a freind offered her 5 year old stopped wetting the bed so she doesn't need them anymore. I've got TONS of diapers left over in Tracy's side an I dond't think we're getting anywhere with potty training when she's ill.
mommy2owen replied: I would go for it! If they cant control it I dont think it will hurt them!
loveydad replied: Well I went ahead and did it and they seem to be fine. Vincent objected but I just told him, this is just incase you can't make it to the bathroom in time. It's been handy too! Tracy didn't even notice the diapers the poor thing. She's slept almost all day.
mommy2owen replied: awww...hope they feel better soon!
loveydad replied: Thanks. I got the flu on Saturday early morning and by today the only symptoms I have left is the sore chest and back - probably from sleeping on the couch. No fever all day. Did have a fever early this morning - 3 am.
The twins got it Friday and are pretty rambunctious by tonight. I think by tommrow they'll be tip top. No fever for them just the lasting diareah I spoke about earlier.
Tracy got it Saturday and she's just erally really tired.
Nicky got it today and he's not throwing up anymore but he's awful sick.
So hopefully they'll al be okay by Friday when the twibbles have their birthday party.
mommy2owen replied: That dosnet sound good. Glad to hear your starting to feel better! Good Luck getting them all better in time for the party!
loveydad replied: Thanks! You're posting a lot tonight, are you as board as me!? LOL
mommy2owen replied: Yea, I couldnt fall asleep so I thought I would get on the computer! But then i was up until after 2 am
My2Beauties replied: Oh I'm so sorry everyone is sick!! That is the pits. Hanna and Brian both had that awful rotavirus a couple of weeks ago, it was poop and puke city in my house...sorry TMI
loveydad replied: Yuck! Rotovirius! Sorry to hear that!!
LoL MtO I would have thought the kids would tire you out! Mine sure do!
mommy2owen replied: They normaly would. But since they have been sick, they have been sleeping more, so they fell asleep early and didnt wake up at all during the night!
loveydad replied: Ah I thought you said they'd gotten better on Friday, but I know how it lingers! My kids are starting to feel better! hooray!
mommy2owen replied: They are a lot better but still have some symptoms. Today Alyssa fell asleep in the bath tub! I left her for 2 minutes, came back and found her sound asleep!
loveydad replied: Ah mine do that a lot. My kids have to have baths tonight except Tracy. Hope they all feel better soon!
