Mommy2BAK replied: well I should start out by telling you about my day..... I had my first prenatal appt this morning at 9:30 and they told me that I'm not pregnant, later on today they called and said come back immediately for a ultrasound b/c your hCG levels are EXTREMELY high, they thought perhaps a tubal pregnancy. So to us.... twins was a relief!

9 weeks - so your due date is around Aug. 25th or so? I know twins usually come sooner than 40 weeks - do they give you a shorter due date as well?

Yeah it has nothing to do with daddy, its the mothers egg that splits or when she produces two eggs and they both get fertilized.

I wish it were the other way around - Dh's mom is a twin. I don't know of any twins in my side of the family at all.
