CantWait replied: WOW took long enough. It's just another sad case in my eyes, but I wouldn't mind hearing the details of the case, and how they finally caught that SOB dry.gif

skinkybaby replied: I can't wait to hear the details on how they caught him. Hopefully we can get some justice for that poor little girl

luvmykids replied: I wish they'd been able to catch him before Patsy died.

C&K*s Mommie replied: The Boulder police are supposed to have a news conference later today, so the details should be forthcoming soon.

Glad someone was finally apprehended.

CantWait replied:
Patsy died??

skinkybaby replied: She died of cancer, I believe, in June

luvmykids replied:
In June, I believe she had cancer.

A&A'smommy replied: WOW thats crazy.. but I'm glad they finally got someone!!!!

DansMom replied:
My thoughts exactly. It's too bad she wasn't vindicated while she was still alive.

luvbug00 replied: interesting. That poor child I think of her every time i see a pagent. sleep.gif

ions_momma replied: Im glad that they finally got someone. it took long enough...

holley79 replied: WOW

BAC'sMom replied: Finally..... God rest her soul sleep.gif

Jackie012007 replied: WOW I thought for sure this case would never be solved... at least they can stop hounding the family, and it is sad that Patsy died before they found a someone sad.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Well it's about time they arrested someone! That little girl deserves justice!

Boo&BugsMom replied: I wonder who it is. So sad this whole story is.

jcc64 replied: That was a bizarre murder case, I would be interested in knowing what the motive could possibly have been.

Nina J replied: I hope JonBenét finally gets some justice, so she can rest in peace. And Patsy as well. After years of accusations, she wasn't here to see an arrest sleep.gif

Brias3 replied: Wow, I was just coming on to post this. I read a clip on the Yahoo webpage about it. Thank goodness this will finally be brought to justice. Honestly, I always had thought it was something weird to do with the parents, what with the cloud of speculation that was always over them. May the poor little girl finally rest in peace now.

kimberley replied: ohmy.gif someone just said it was her teacher. my goodness! i am very sorry Patsy wasn't vindicated before her death. what a tragedy. 10 long years of heartache sad.gif

Nina J replied: According to John Mark Karr, he "loved JonBenét". Makes me want to throw up to know there are people in the world like him. dry.gif

He confessed, so I guess a little girl is finally getting justice. sleep.gif

Jackie012007 replied: yeah I just watched that on CNN... what a sick B&%$@*... apparently he "didn't mean to kill her"!? OK how do you not mean to kill someone and they end up so brutally slain? Just watching that dude gave me the creeps... I hope he fries mad.gif

msoulz replied: I hope this is a bit of a lesson for those who insist on putting their beautiful daughters on display. There are sick freaks out there, some of whom think they can be in love with tiny little girls. And the little girls don't need to be parading around looking like adults!! Oh, this just makes me sick to my stomach and angry. mad.gif

stella6979 replied:
I couldn't agree with you more. I followed this case very closely and in all the photos they showed of this little girl, I don't EVER recall seeing a "normal" photo of her. That's just sad. Now, I'm not blaming the parents for what this guy did, but I really do find those pagents absolutely disturbing. No little girl should be walking around looking like a Vegas Showgirl. mad.gif

jcc64 replied: I have to say, I also find those types of pagaents appalling, and I could see how they would be a magnet and a real turn-on for pedophiles. However, I am done casting judgment on those poor parents. I will admit, based on the way the story has been portrayed in the media over the years, I always felt the parents were guilty- of something, if not directly involved. There were suggestions that the girl had been treated for medical problems that may or may not have been indicative of sexual abuse. The fact that the parents were so unco-operative with the authorities always seemed weird to me as well. Now I realize that I allowed myself to be led astray by bad journalism peppered with lazy, incompetent pollice work.
What a tragic life this family has lived. First the little girl is murdered. Then they are accused of doing it. The mother dies of cancer. That poor surviving brother, as well as the husband. I feel we are all complicit in their suffering.

My2Beauties replied:
dito.gif to everything you just said. Yes it's appalling the way these little girls are thrown up on stage to act like a mature adult woman and parade around in gobs of make up and slinky outfits. I honestly don't agree with the way the parents allowed her to do the pagaents. I honestly always thought they had something to do with it, but I guess now we know. I didn't even know her mother had died until earlier this morning when I was reading somewhere about it. So sad.

mckayleesmom replied:
Ditto

I was guilty too.....I seriously thought the little boy murdered her and they tried to cover it up for the sake of him. I thought that was why they were being uncooperative and suspicious.

gr33n3y3z replied: Its very sad that it took this long to find the killer
But who would have thought the teacher.
No matter what the punnishment they will throw at the teacher it will never be enough not even death.

coasterqueen replied:
dito.gif here too.

skinkybaby replied: How horrible sad.gif
