Yesterday Lucas helped me take our Christmas tree down and put everything into the shed. It was so embarrasing (Sp) people would come over and see our christmas tree still up with decorations and all the works Yesterday I took the lights off the house too... Wow Im so behind!!
lisar replied: I know lots of people that had thiers up for awhile. Mine came down about 3 days after christmas. I needed the space back. LOL..
kimberley replied: don't feel bad.. just got my stuff down last weekend
grapfruit replied: Me too, it was pretty, but I was ready for it to GO! LoL!
BAC'sMom replied: I have a neighbor 2 doors down that still has Santa, the sleigh and reindeer still on his roof. I am thinking of asking if he needs some help taking it down.
Kaitlin'smom replied: dont feel bad one area I drive in still has all there stuff outside I woudl use the weather as an excuse.
Calimama replied: We're required to have our outside stuff down by a certain date but I drive by at night and I can still see the lights from people's christmas trees inside their houses.
Donna027 replied: well Im glad Im not the only one. Here we dont have to take our stuff down by a certain date but most people are done a few days after new years which is when I usualy take our stuff down. I just been so behind next weeks gonna be worse I start work again
Calimama replied: You should have left it up.. then you'll be AHEAD of the game for this year.
grapfruit replied: There's a guy that has HORRIBLE decoration (looks like he just walks around his yard and tosses lights on whatever) and he still has his up. There's a BIG sign that says HAPPY HOLIDAYS. It's kind of sad, b/c he used to decorate really nice, he must just be getting older...
I agree w/Denise, just leave it up and be ahead of the game. You can change the decoration to match the holidays (like you can be putting shamrocks on it now!)
CantWait replied: HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! He's all set for EASTER then, lol.
grapfruit replied: This is true!
holley79 replied: You should have left the tree up and decorated it for St Paddy's day.
Donna027 replied: I was actually considering doing just that
A&A'smommy replied: LOL I did that 05 but this year I got it put up about a week after christmas
JadensMama05 replied: Don't feel bad. Our Christmas tree is still up, no decorations but the lights - it's a pre-lit. It would be all put away but the lighting in our living room is screwy and we haven't come up with a good way to light the room so we're using our Christmas tree until we find a good lamp or something. We're extremely picky.. altho having the tree up is probably much more tacky.
