coasterqueen replied: I did get a bonus , a $500 one. But in my opinion it compares nothing to what he got, especially since I did everything to get him that bonus.

Also he got a 3% higher raise than I did and he spends most of the time away from work with his family while IIIII work! Grrrr.

I did talk to him about wanting more $$$ three different times, but he ignored me. He just acts like I never asked him. Grrrr.

I have a great job overall, though, I'm just bah humbugging about this right now. The sad thing is the board told him what he was getting at our Christmas party and he was so drunk he couldn't remember what they told him. I had to ask our president what he got so I could do the accounting for it. And I asked my boss if he wanted to know what he got and he said, NO, he didn't care!

WHAT!???? Okay, so can I have the $15,000!!!! To all of us that would be paying off a lot of bills!!!

I have no clue what I am getting this year, i just hope its the same if not better than last year.

Guest_jem0622 replied: I work for a gov't contractor and that is how it is. The worker bees get a reward, but nowhere near what management receives. I have gotten to a point where I just appreciate them thanking me and recognizing my efforts. Otherwise I'd be one bitter lady.

Sorry that your share of the recognition was nowhere near your supervisor, but glad you got something.

Heather replied: AWW sweetie you have the right to be upset! Even if you did get something...you are right, that 500 is nothing compared to what he got! I would threaten to leave!! Then watch him sweat...HEHEH!!
