Yay!

~Roo'sMama~ wrote: This saturday and sunday are my last days working! I'm so excited to be done. tongue.gif I haven't been working very often but almost every time I had to work I've been sick, and my back is hurting so bad every day it's just too hard to keep going. Maybe if I had a less physical job it would be ok, but even on the days when there wasn't much to do I was pretty miserable.
I feel kinda bad cuz I was planning on working until April... but like dh said we have to get used to not having the extra money sometime. rolleyes.gif I'm going to try to make it up to him by getting the house nice and clean and keeping it that way. Of course lately I've been feeling too yucky to do that either but hopefully soon I'll be done with being sick and my migraines will stay away and I can get some serious stuff done! happy.gif Or maybe I'll just sleep constantly for the next 4 months to get stocked up. rolling_smile.gif
I'm just so relieved to not have to go to work anymore. biggrin.gif

mammag replied: That's wonderful! I think it's good to have the time to get yourself ready!

ediep replied: thats great! Your DH sounds very sweet!!! I say sleep for a few days and when nesting sets in, you'll feel like cleaning tongue.gif wink.gif

Boys r us replied: Awesome!!!!!!!! Enjoy your last 4 months of peace and quiet! tongue.gif

coasterqueen replied: Congrats!!!!! I'm so jealous tongue.gif

Kirstenmumof3 replied: thumb.gif That's great that you will be able to have that time to prepare yourself for the new baby!

Maddie&EthansMom replied: redbounce.gif WOO HOOOOOOO! banana.gif I agree, enjoy the peace and quiet! thumb.gif

5littleladies replied: Yay!! And may I add-It's about time. wink.gif Now we just have to get Scott to sheetrock the nursery and you will have something fun to do for the next couple months (aside from the mudding of course rolleyes.gif ).

~Roo'sMama~ replied:
ohhhh don't even talk about mudding - don't remind me of that part until the sheetrocking is done and I have no choice! tongue.gif Scott had better buy sheetrock soon or he's gonna have to do the mudding himself - I don't want to be standing on a ladder all day 2 weeks before the baby comes! wacko.gif

moped replied: That is very exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was on mat leave I had a million things that I was going to do around the house and never did any of it. My house is always tidy, but never go thtat really clean that I had planned on - now Jack is 8 months old and I am still adding to tthe list of things I want to do!!!!!

Enjoy

JessC replied: Cool that is always good! tongue.gif biggrin.gif I am going to school full time, so I dont have time for work. thumb.gif
Homework is crazy though! blink.gif

rocknroll mom replied: I'm so happy for you!! I was terminated due to morning sickness (pretty bogus deal--I would even go to work sick & race to the bathroom constantly), & I was very upset about it. I applied for other jobs but let them know I was pregnant. I felt that being honest would help find an honest employer. Still no work. I was really bummed for a while, but had major support from my b/f. I finally realized that this is the best thing I can do for me & my baby, because I can rest, eat, & sleep as needed. It is much more relaxing than when I was working, and I have been able to organize pictures, keepsakes, etc., that have been piling up for years now that I have extra time. Yea--I finally have clean closets!!!

Anyway, you sound like you've got great support. Enjoy your time off! You deserve it!

~Roo'sMama~ replied:
At least you tried. I'm glad your boyfriend is being so supportive of you! thumb.gif Yes my dh is being very sweet about it too. I'm not going to go back to work even after the baby is born, but I have a feeling my plate will be full enough without it. tongue.gif

loveydad replied: Wooho!!

A&A'smommy replied: WOOHOOO thats great!!! thumb.gif partydance.gif banana.gif

I say SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP that is what I did well not at the beggining I kept my neice and nephew a lot then but towards the end I would sleep until like 3pm some days but then of course dh was working nights and we spent time together when he got home from work. Anyway enjoy your time alone because very soon you will NEVER be along again lol its not bad though its a lot of fun! wub.gif

MommyToAshley replied: thumb.gif That's awesome, enjoy this time. I agree SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP. I still miss those afternoon naps that I used to take when I was PG. blush.gif Your DH sounds like a sweety. thumb.gif
