I don't know. I went to the IRS site and it shows that we should not get ours deposited until the 9th but I heard it should be earlier then that. I'm assuming that a direct deposit would show by now (first thing in the morning) but

This is true - paper checks don't start until May 16. There is a table at the bottom that tells us when to expect the payments.

Direct Deposit: Depending on the last two numbers of your Social Security Number, your rebate should be deposited by:

00-20: May 2
21-75: May 9
76-99: May 16

By Mail: Depending on the last two numbers of your Social Security Number, your rebate check should be mailed by:

00-09: May 16
10-18: May 23
19-25: May 30
26-38: June 6
39-51: June 13
52-63: June 20
64-75: June 27
76-87: July 4
88-99: July 11

Yep, that's the schedule I read also but I read somewhere that they would be early and my MIL got hers 3 days ago. The first ones weren't even supposed to go out until today.

Some of them are going early - but not WAY early like some new stations were reporting and there's no guarantee it will go early. DHs SS number ends in 99 so I imagine we'll have to wait all the way to the 16th for ours.
