ZandersMama wrote: Well I spent the weekend with my boy, the doctor let me take him in a room with me to get used to eachother and so we could nurse around the clock. The nursing went wonderful, it was great being together all weekend.

When I was changing his diaper I noticed some swelling, so I called the nurse, who called the doctor. Long story short, he has a hernia. We find out tomorrow when the surgery will be sad.gif He was going to be discharged this week because he is doing so well sad.gif

The nurses do a carseat test to make sure babies can keep their 02 levels up while sitting in a carseat, before they can go home. He had to keep his 02 levels steady for 90 minutes, and they dropped at 40 minutes. sad.gif So, this test will be redone in a few days.

His hemogloban was really low again, so we find out tomorrow if he needs another blood transfusion. sad.gif

Oh, and he gets his RSV vaccination today. sleep.gif
