mummy2girls replied: I didnt get anything from jennas dad as he returned the gift he got me because i wouldnt cave to his wishes.. but i did get something from jenna she made at her dayhome:) a hand cast:)

She has never reciprocated and gotten me anything but my husband makes sure I have a card and something small.

I do the same thing every year for my DSS. This is the first year I haven't. He's 17 so I figure he's old enough to get his own now. I don't get anything not even a hug.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I did not get anything today tangible per se from Chris. As he is out of town with Christian. Kellie and I went to dinner last night, and rented a movie- so that is like a gift from him, since he gave me the money before he left last night. And I went and picked up brownie mix, and Kel and I have eaten brownies to celebrate Mom's Day in our own way.

So technically nothing in physical form- today from him.

I'm sorry you didn't get anything, I know how it feels. I can assure you though that my DH won't get a single thing for Father's Day, not even a crappy breakfast! It's a darn good thing MD comes before FD!

Chiflata2003 replied: I didnt get anything from Dh. I had to remind him to even tell me Happy Mom's day. I did take my mom out to lunch at her fav mexican place and then I bought her a rose and card. So the lunch was my gift too I guess.

ZandersMama replied: My dh isnt usually the type to do much for me for any holiday, but I figured this year...................................our son is 20 months and we just got the positive test for another little one on the way about 2 weeks ago, so I thought he would do something. Around 5 last night he said" dam babe, its mothers day today isn't it" and that was it you are not alone.
