ediep replied: not anymore....Jason sleeps from about 8:30pm to about 6:30am. He also takes 2 good naps (usually)
CantWait replied: nope I sleep more now with a newborn baby then I did when I was pregnant. I was severly sleep deprived for about 7 months of my pregnancy.
Heather replied: There is such a thing as sleep? Goodness where can you get some of it? Ali is the worst sleeper. It has been a while since I have had a good nights sleep!!!
MomofTay&Sam replied: I am so in need of sleep. LOL Thats just because I took a 9 month old to the mountains.
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley sleeps well now... she usually goes to sleep at 830ish and gets up for good around 7:30. However, I was so used to getting up throughout the night that I still can't get a good night's sleep! She's been sleeping great like this since 9 months and I still can't sleep through the night. I think I need some sleep training! LOL
~CrazieMama~ replied: Brianna usually is sleeping by 11 - 11:30p.m. and up around 10 - 11 a.m.
5littleladies replied: Nope!! All of my girls sleep from 8:30 p.m. till 8 or 9 a.m. I get lots of sleep!
supermom replied: Will be soon with this new little one!
MomToMany replied: Yes, I suppose I am ! Hannah still wakes up occasionally at night, but *usually* falls asleep again on her own, but not all the time. I wake up at every little noise, and then I can't get back to sleep! Plus, I get PG insomnia, so that doesn't help!
What makes me mad is when DH goes to bed at 8:30, and I'm up til 11 trying to get Hannah to finally fall asleep! I guess he thinks it's because he WORKS! LOL, and I don't?? Sometimes I just want to kick him in the rear, just for the fun of it, and make HIM stay up while I go to bed at 8:30!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I'm learning to cope with being sleep deprived....and I get up earlier now too. I used to get up around 7, and go to bed between 10:30 and 11:30....now, this is my "routine":
5:45 - get up, go downstairs and have 1 piece of toast and a big glass of water. Sometimes Zach is awake, sometimes he isn't, I take him down with me if he is, and let DH sleep some more.
6:00 - go to the basement, put on my exercise tape for 30 minutes. (It's a 1 hour tape, so I alternate halves every day instead of 1 hour every 2nd day) and I take a break in between for 5 minutes, drink some more water) If Zach came down with me earlier, I take him with me to the basement, he plays with some toys while I do my tape. Sometimes he boogies with Mommy!
6:45 - put a load of laundry in the washer, or a load of dishes in the dishwasher, and vacuum the living room
7:00 - Go back upstairs and choose what clothes I'm going to wear that day, depending on the weather, and I also take out 2 of Zach's outfits, one for him to wear, the other to go in his bag for daycare in case he gets REALLY dirty.
7:15 - hop in the shower
7:20 - go downstairs and gather my lunch together, as well as play with Zach for a bit while DH gets showered and dressed to take Zach to his sitter's
7:50 - Kiss everyone goodbye and leave to take the bus
5:15 - I get home, and I cook whatever DH took out that morning before leaving for work around 10.... (meat-wise, chicken of beef or pork or whatever - I don't eat it every day though. Too much for me!)
5:30 - DH gets home with Zach, and we both play with him until dinner is ready, then we all sit down to eat.
6:30 - Usually Zach,s really tired right now, so I take him upstairs in his room, and lie on the floor with him (there's a small mattress on the floor just for this) with him against the wall, and we take a nap, usually for about 1 1/2 hours, while DH cleans up dinner
8pm - Zach wakes up, and wakes me up. We go downstairs, I vaccum while DH gives Zach his last bottle of the evening
8:20 - Zach falls back asleep, and DH and I spend the evening together, until I go to bed around 10.
Works like a CHARM. I'm not nearly as tired now as I was when I'd sleep in until 7....and I'm a heck of a lot less cranky too.
Daddy of Schnoogly replied: Sleep? What? (Mommy concurs)
At 8 months old, Iain still wakes up every hour after 3. On a bad night he starts waking up at like 11. Last night, for some reason, he slept really well.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: I was last night. For some reason Jade decided to get up at 12:20 and not go back to sleep until 3. I tried everything: Tylenol, baby oraljel, gas drops and I even gave her milk. I took her jammies off thinking she was warm. I finally had to bring her to bed with me. She usually does this when something is bothering her. I just don't know what it was.
Jamison'smama replied: Sleep deprived here---Jama is still not a great sleeper---she goes to bed around 8:30 -9 but wakes up about every hour until 12:00--I stay up to get things done that I just can't seem to do when DH and Jamison are awake. THis is one of those times but I am typing instead of cleaning something----hmmm, wonder why I am sleep deprived.
