awww a real parenting club night!

Boys r us wrote: I'll be the first to admit that I'm not overly religious..or I guess I should say actively religious..we don't go to church etc..but I do pray on a regular basis and I believe and have faith, I was raised in church and in private christian school.

Anyhow, last night I was laying in the bed, counting my blessings and I was thinking of the little boy Aimee was telling us about who was attacked by a dog. So I said a prayer for him and his family and oh my goodness, it turned into about a 30 minute prayer...suddenly, I was thinking of reasons to pray for all of my friends here on PC!! Anyone who had something going on...and then even those who don't, it was like role call I went thru everyone's name who had something going on and then I got to Edie and I was like ..."hmm..well just watch over her family!" and finished my list with everyone else who just needed watching over too!! It was a really good feeling and you know, it reminded me of how special you all are to me!!!! Just wanted to let ya know that you're all in my thoughts and prayers I'm sort of embarrassed to even tell this b/c I don't want to sound like a dork..but it all left me with such a nice feeling to have so many people in my life that I care about!

It feels good knowing that you have someone that you've never even seen before asking God to bless you and watch over you. I can't even say that my best friends do that for myself and my family! I know what you mean about caring about everyone. I get so nervous and worried when I hear about things going on, like surgeries on our children, deaths in the family, hurricanes a-comin' You're a very wonderful person Nichole!

I always say my prayers at night when I get in bed and remember everyone on the board who needed a little help. It just feels like you are helping when you don't know how else to help. Thanks

A&A'smommy replied: awww Nichole I do the same thing.. EVERYTIME somone asks for prayer I sit right there and pray for them but if for some reason I don't (usually Alyssa is messing with me) then I pray for them later... and usualy go through the whole list!

redchief replied: I always feel a little badly come summer time since we get really busy on the ambulance and all. Church and faith kind of take a backseat to fatigue and taking care of the tourists whom we rely upon for our living. Thanks for reminding me there are other ways to stay in touch with God; and thanks especially for your prayers. You're all in mine too.

during the day I find myself thinking about everyone here and how things are going with them, also!

Wanna here something funny...don't think I'm weird but everytime I make hamburger I think of how you broke your foot with the frozen hamburger and how much that would have hurt geesh..the things that stick in your head from here
