coasterqueen replied: I'm glad you had luck. I didn't I have SO much stuff I'd love to get rid of on there, but it hasn't worked. Right now it's overtaking my basement waiting until Spring to do a yard sale. sigh.

I sold calebs old potty chair (!!!) for $8 it was 6 yrs old, looked new, but still!!
i sold a little tykes kitchen that i had gotten at a yard sale last year for $20 I sold it for $30
I sold two old lamps, and two old end tables, the end tables were not in that good of shape,
I sold two media racks for vhs tapes, two of those tents that pop up and you run and crawl thru, not sleep in.
my grandmas old vcr,
just odds and ends
i have tons of little things left to go and a large wicker rocking chair.
some people drove over an hour to get stuff.

its so easy, and much better then a yard sale. this one guy showed up with his wife and kid and asked what else we had when he bought the end tables, and he ended up buying most of the stuff, he actually went into our basement with my husband and just started asking for stuff.
i am sure thats an unusual case, but it worked for us!

it made me enough to start on the kids christmas gifts.
and i am going to keep going.
i am thinking of getting stuff cheap at yards sales in the summer and then selling them here.
especially baby stuff.

Boo&BugsMom replied: Awesome! That is how we got rid of my breast pump that was only used for a week! Got $100 for it. It was originally $200, but getting half back was still a blessing. Perhaps we should list some other stuff too. Glad you had so much luck!

Not necessarily. Undeliverable could be a number of things, but usually means the email address is not valid. That could be a spelling error or an invalid account.

DillsMommy replied: I just heard about craigs list a couple weeks ago. DH is already obsessed. I listed our dog Sophie on there, free to good home of course. I've been wanting to have a yard sale, but never got around to it, maybe I'll try this instead. Who pays shipping or is it all pick-up only?

boyohboyohboy replied: i wont ship anything, i make them come and get it or we meet at a location..but i only sell local, the ones that are from out of town are usualy scams.

I have a TON of stuff to sell because we redid our bedroom, we are redoing our mud room and our foyer so I have furniture, pictures, etc, etc. I really would like to get rid of it now.

grapfruit replied: Ok I have a question too. I just put Tim's truck on there, can you see how many people have looked at it? Do I just get an email if anybody is interested. I wish I'd of gotten an email...although I guess I should be patient, it's only been up for a day.
