PrairieMom wrote: Alright ladies and gents! what is this now? day 5? I can't remember.
I am actually going to have to spend $ today.
First we are going to the zoo, buy we have a family pass, so I get in free, I will just have to shell out $1.00 for duck and goat feed. laugh.gif
Then its my dad's birthday, and we are incharge of cake and a cold salad, We are almost out of orange juice, and The Boy wants to get Papa a balloon. so those are the ONLY things we are going to buy. and we are not stopping for fast food like we normally would. thumb.gif

coasterqueen replied: I've got more grocery shopping to do today. wacko.gif So I will be doing that for sure. I might also pick up a movie at the video store, but that should be about it. I have to mow and clean house this afternoon. rolleyes.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I'm not going anywhere so I won't be spending money today. happy.gif

TheOaf66 replied: well have to pay the vet today and we are going shopping for Tanners b-day presents and I have to put some gas in my car...could be a pricey day today.

Our Lil' Family replied: $8 on a haircut for Thomas
$16.87 on last minute recipe items at the grocery store

I'm done for the day! Not too bad.

3_call_me_mama replied: OK here's my day :
Tolls on the way to inlaws $.75
(Usually we stop and get water for hte ride.. but we're bringing bottled water from home this time. so saving $6.00 there. )
Dinner on teh road $45 for 5 of us. (Planning on skipping fast food and getting somethgin remotely healthy to eat. ) Since it's a 5-6 hour ride we have to stop for a meal and get out to le tteh kids run for a bit.
other than that NADA!

Boo&BugsMom replied:
He also needs new underwear and his bedskirt ripped and had to be thrown away.sad.gif Not to mention, a snack for church on Sun., colored ink for the printer, treat bags for Tanner's party, a b-day cake.....................

coasterqueen replied: Spent $142.50 on three bags of groceries at Food Fantasies. wacko.gif wacko.gif We may be re-thinking this organic approach. I didn't even get 1/2 of what I need for 2 weeks worth of meals. huh.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: Today was grocery day so I spent a little money at walmart!
Over $100....but $25 was on a gift card for my brothers birthday and also I got Alex two pairs of pants for $13

Then I went to JcPenny and let me tell you they are having a great sale!!

I got Alex a pair of canvas shoes for fall
Regular $13 for $6!
Two shirts, one for $11 and the second was a DOLLAR! A Spiderman one and a Super Man one!
Two pair of cords and two shirts...those were 2for$12

Soo for a grand total of $42(at Penny's) my boy has shoes, 2 pants and 4 shirts to start fall! thumb.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: Well since I am finishing up paying for our bash tomorrow I am going to sart this next week when its all done, and my new buget starts. I dont even want to add up how much we spent over all wacko.gif

PrairieMom replied: Well, I'm back from the store and only got things on my list. I was in and out for $17.00.

I was really craving fast food, but I did not cave in! I came home and had a sandwich, it isn't what I wanted, but it filled my belly up just the same. Its been over a week since I have had fast food. My poor body doesn't know what to do! I think its going into some kind of shock. wacko.gif

I thought that was all the $ I would be spending today, but The Boy had a little potty accident in his bed, THEN he whiped his peanutbutter/honey face on our comforter, so we are off to the laundrymat. rolleyes.gif I am digging through our change jar for the money for that tho. what are the chances he would defile both comforters in one day? rolleyes.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied:
better together....right? can you wash them together? one trip over 2 saves gas anyway.

PrairieMom replied:
There is a mew laundry matt right by our house that has super capacity washers and dryers, so I don't know, I'm gonna try! I agree, one trip is better than two! laugh.gif

Jackie012007 replied: spent $8 washing all hte bedding at the laundromat after the flea fiasco... luckily all the flea treatments were free... thanks dad!

still have to go out and get some flea powder to do the carpeting but we are both exhausted so don't think that's gonna happen
