luvbug00 wrote: Mya was a mess this morning. she was soo thrown off by the change in time. she cried and said how tired she was even though she went to bed a wee bit early. I felt soo bad and wanted to let her sleep in but she has missed enough school already. poor thing. Not too happy with whatever pres. approved this time change. how did everyone elses kids do today??
sparkys2boys replied: One did fine, Cameron was up, happy and gone to school The other, cranky, saying he is sick( he's not) and in bed for the day becasue of it all I hate the time change too, drives me insane
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Well I pretty much slept through my alarm going off which in turn had me scrambling around to get Jade to school relatively on time (school is right around the corner so not so bad). It took me a minute to wake her up, but when she finally did she got ready really fast. So I'm thinking the time change affected Mom more then the child.
msoulz replied: Had to wake both of them up. I can't remember the last time I woke up Erin - she is usually my alarm clock!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: it's march break here.
Kaitlin'smom replied: supprising no issuse here at all, bed on time and up as always.
DillsMommy replied: Dylan was fine, I was the one that had the problem. The alarm didn't go off and it was still dark outside, so I thought it was still night. Long story short--He missed the bus and I had to drive him to school. Ooops!
BAC'sMom replied: Nope not at all! They were both bright eyed and bushy tailed to go to school
coasterqueen replied: No, but that's because we went away for a mini vacation this past weekend and the girls were up past midnight all weekend, so when we got home yesterday by 6 pm they were laying in bed watching movies and were out early. So this morning they were well rested. I, on the other hand, was very grumpy having to get up.
luvmykids replied: They complained that since it was so dark I must be getting them up too early but no real problems.
:.Mrs_Mommy.: replied: The kids were up right away but it took me a little bit to get out of bed. Just seemed wayyy to early to me. Opened the curtains and it was still dark out there.
Still feeling super tired but that could be because I was up for 24 hrs then took cold meds and fell asleep at 8 last night. Just not enough sleep for all that I think.
A&A'smommy replied: no alyssa got up a little earlier than usual and i had trouble waking up and I fell asleep early last night
3xsthefun replied: Nope they all got up just fine. I'm the one had trouble getting up but then again I didn't go to bed until after 12.
5littleladies replied: Yep-but since we homeschool it wasn't a problem for us.
I love daylight savings-I really enjoy the extended daylight in the evening.
luvmykids replied: Me too, especially when it warms up. I love to read books in the hammock after the kids go to bed
kimberley replied: it's march break here so no worries for us. on a good note, K slept passed 6am this morning!
MommyToAshley replied: I always have to wake Ashley up... so no different than normal.
But, I was really surprised she went to bed on time. We put her to bed at 8pm and she fell right to sleep (so it would have been 7pm without the time change). We played outside in the snow just about the entire day, so that could have worn her out.
mom21kid2dogs replied: We had a 2 hour weather delay this AM or I think I would have been in the same boat. She slept til 9am. We, too, have played in the snow for hours on end since Friday. I think she was just plain worn out!!!
