do you have nicknames for your kids ?
natchie wrote: you know .. those names that only us parents call our kids with ?
i call me son "liit" which in our language means "small"
Mommieto2Girls replied: The main thing I call Madison is Maddie.
shelrae00 replied: I call Sarynn "Sissy or Sister" alot since she is a little sister. And we call her Serendipity!
Shelly
ediep replied: I call Jason....Jay, sweets, handsome, stinky stinkerson, cutie patootie, sweetie boy,
aspenblue1 replied: I call Isabella Bell usually my DH calls her chitlin (SP)
Jamison'smama replied: We call her Jama as a shortened version of her name but we have lots of pet names for her---- Primarily I call her sweet pea or sweet potato--DH calls her his angel.
mummy2girls replied: I call jenna BooBoo or sweetness
Maddie&EthansMom replied: I call Maddie "Bunny" b/c after she was born and I would hold her and stare at her she would wrinkle her little nose like a bunny and make the sweetest sounds, it just stuck and I still call her that to this day....DH calls her "Punkin Pie" so she tells everyone "I'm not Maddie!! I'm Punkin Pie!!" She is obviously a daddy's girl!
Heather replied: OMG, I call Ali anything that comes to mind at the time...LOL. Sometimes, I like what comes out and it sticks for a few days and then it gets old...My poor child is never going to know her real name.
Right now I call her lil lady.
dolfinrse replied: We call Zack anything from Monkey to Munchkey, to Stinky Pants to Zachary Daiquiri ..... LOL
There are more, but that is all I can think of right now.
MomofTay&Sam replied: We have so many! Nothing has "stuck" yet. I say pork chop way to often.
DansMom replied: I call Daniel "Mama's baby" and "my little love of sweetness" (which doesn't make much sense but it's what I say!)
DH calls him boy-like things, for example "Super-Groover" and "Bruiser".
When I dress him, I dress him like a baby (bunnies and ducks and such), whereas when DH dresses him he looks like an older boy (baseball shirt, jeans, and cap).
alice&arik replied: I call Arik Mr. Like "Hey Mr!" or else I call him monster, stinkybutt....whatever the mood is.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I call my son:
Chunky Munky Zach WeeMan Z-Man (pronouced the American way - ZEE-man) Baby or Bébé (Bay-bay) Minou (French endearment meaning Kitten. The *real* term for a kitten is Chaton, which I also use)
My grandfather calls him *Vilain Crapaud* (pronounced Vee-Lain Crap-O) which means Wicked Toad. I HATE it. Leave it to the French to have terms of endearment, which when translated, sound so mean.... Like Petite Crotte (little turd) and Crottée (dirty)
*sigh*
Shooter replied: "JD" (an obvious one) or I call him junior. I often say "Hey Buddy!" to him when he first sees me. He's gonna think his name is buddy. LOL
We had thought of naming him Vincent, after my grandpa, but we knew we wanted the middle name to be David which would have left his initials as "VD", and we just couldn't see doing that.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Jade's first real nickname was given to her daddy when she was two days old. That was bookie. I have also called her Stinky and Pumpkin Head.
coasterqueen replied: We call Kylie "booga" or "boogabear" as you can reference from my sign in name. I don't know why we call her that. I guess when we made those stupid baby noises to her at first, we must have said "booga, booga, booga boo" a lot and that is how we started calling her that.
