do you like lightning?

I LOVE lightning...I was just driving and my car almost got hit by lightning, I'm serious and then I heard the thunderbolt and it sounded like it was right over my head, I jumped.
I know this sounds nuts but I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

We just had a freak storm come through. Lightning, thunder, gumball sized hail... crazy cool.

ETA: a few years ago we had an electric storm. Numerous bolts of lightning came about every 5 seconds for at least an hour. That was neat!

lisar replied: yall are nuts. I am deathly scared of lighting. I mean scared. I will sit in a corner where I cant see any windows and read a book until its over. Dh loves it though him and the girls will sit and watch it. If I cant see it then I am fine, the thunder dont bother me at all though.

oh man, I wish it would stay still like that for me. When I say it moves, I mean it moves, literally, from place to place. There will be one bolt right in front of me, then the next one to the side of me, etc.

I get a little nervous here, because in NM no matter how bad the storm it was JUST a t-storm and here they can turn into tornado watches and I just feel unprepared. But I love them anyway, in fact, I love them more here because like they say, everything is bigger in TX
