And I am a sucker for scratch offs I probably spend $15-$20 a week

ilovemybaby replied: Very rarely. We got a ticket recently but no luck. Someone hit the jackpot and won $18 million I just hate it when people win that much... not really but I can't help but feel a little jealous. At least with this family they said on the news that they are donating some to their favourite charities. It said on the news that they would be making something like $100,000 a month in interest if the whole lot went in the bank.
What I hate seeing is people that win Lotto and waste it all. One time there was a couple of guys that won $1 million and they were both on government assistance (the dole - unemployment benefit) and they spent the whole lot on motorbikes and leather jackets and cr*p like that and then went back on government assistance.
IF we ever win Lotto we will be buying a three or four bedroom home (we need one!) and saving an amount in a college fund for Abby and Sophie and any other kids we have then and the rest would pay off any bills we needed to pay off and the rest would go into the bank in a savings fund. And Paul and I would continue to work.
