grapfruit replied: How old is Jake again? I was just thinking, if he's old enough, you might think of getting him a cheap "real" set. (Take out any of the "dangerous" tools).
Our Lil' Family replied: Thomas has a Home Depot set in a carrying case...it's really cute. SIL bought it for him so I don't know where it came from but I'll look around online.
Here it is, from TRU.... TOOLS
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Logan has a wooden one from Melissa and Doug. He loves it.
boyohboyohboy replied: jake is going to be 2
Maddie&EthansMom replied: We have the same one as Naomi mentioned, from TRU. Ethan LOVES that thing!!
avory&samsmom replied: my son has a cool tool set in a box with a belt that I got from Wal-Mart for like ten bucks!
Bamamom replied: I ordered this one for Tripp for Christmas. The drill really works and they personalize the name on the box for free. It has 22 pieces and seems really cool.
Lillian Vernon Toolset
boyohboyohboy replied: that is really cool! that was what i had in mind...
lovemy2 replied: We got Olivia - YES Olivia - my darling little GIRL spent all year the year before last asking for TOOLS - every Santa she saw, every person that asked she told them she wanted TOOLS
Anyway - Toys R Us carries "Home Depot" tools - they are great - hers came with a tool box, etc. we just bought a small set but they have all kinds of cool things
redchief replied: Heck, I want one.
Bamamom replied: I had never shopped Lillian Vernon before but they've got some rockin' toys. They have a football playset that DH and Tripp are getting as a "boy present" It's plastic football men (think army men) with a football field and a carrying case. DH is going to be so syked! And everything that can be personalized is personalized for free. I spent like $300 on Christmas stuff from them last week.
Boo&BugsMom replied: I'll second the Home Depot tools from TRU! Tanner has loads of them. He has one set that came in a backpack. Comes in very handy for traveling too!
Brias3 replied: This was what Mason was big into last year too- tools, tools, tools! He also has the Home Depot kids set. In addition, we have a tool bench set that is aimed more at ages 1-2 I believe and is a The First Years product.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: We have one from Home depot...but it's on a belt rather than a tool box....
