We just jointed our account a few days ago...Lets just say he hasnt payed HBC in over 4 months. and vise i have no idea ... and he still hasnt changed his mailing address from his sisters to our place. so i have gone through all old bills got out change of address they have on the back of the bill, changed the address and will mail it off tonight! now i know why he asked for me to be in charge of all finances... WOW!!!!

mckayleesmom replied: What is HBC? Sorry, I'm clueless. Leithan sucks at paying things on time too...I always have to remind him and if I don't we are scrambling to get it done.

Luckily his credit can't mess yours up unless you were to purchase something jointly and then didn't pay or were continuous late pay.
Maybe your good habits will rub off on him.

A&A'smommy replied: uh oh yeah my husband SUCKS at doing the finances too but I got tired of fighting with him so I let him do them our bills are paid he just OVERspends

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Well I'm glad you're in charge of the finances, just make sure he knows whats going on. That's the one thing I hated about my ex, he payed every bill, the mortgage and life insurance and I knew nothing. I'm not saying that I'm good at balancing my cheque book, but my bills are paid.

MommyToAshley replied: Shelly, I just saw that commercial for freecreditreport where the guy sings about marrying his dream girl that had bad credit. I am sure that your DH's credit isn't that bad and it's exaggerated to be funny, but I instantly thought of you when I saw the commercial.

I am sure you will get him back on track in no time.
