good for you water
Kaitlin'smom wrote: now I know why, cause it makes you exersize the more you drink the more steps you will take just going to the bathroom
CHUG-A-LUG
how much have you had so far today?
me 20oz in and finishing up the second 20oz
coasterqueen replied: So true. That's why I hate drinking water.
I am sad to say I'm still on my 1st 16 ounce cup. I'm 3/4 the way through it though. I drink a LOT of water when I exercise these days, though, so I seem to be drinking less water at work.
redchief replied: Why are you drinking so much water?
Maddie&EthansMom replied: You're so funny!!
I've had 20 oz so far. But, that was at the gym. It goes really fast when I'm up there.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I have 40oz and working on the next 20 I shoudl have 60 in before I leave work
why do I drink so much water, well its better than soda, its supposed to be good for you and it does help me from being bloated.
coasterqueen replied: See now I'm either weird, don't drink enough water, or drink too much because I don't ever feel the positive effects of water. I just pee alot. It doesn't help me NOT bloat or feel like I'm retaining water and it doesn't keep me from eating. I think I'm just strange.
Kaitlin'smom replied: It does not help with my cravings or make me feel full either maybe I need more also, but I wanted to get used to 60-80oz a day before I try for more.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Water keeps me from bloating if I drink quite a bit and if I restrict myself to just drinking water and cutting back on salty foods.
It doesnt' help with my cravings, either. It's just good for you.
Insanemomof3 replied: I used to HATE drinking water and only drank soda. Now at work, I drink two to four 44oz cups of water a NIGHT.
It really helps a LOT.
redchief replied: All too much water does is make your urine clear. Water is needed to keep electrolytes suspended in blood, renew bodily fluids, and make urine to help flush your system of waste and to aid in digestion. A lot of people take the guideline of 60 to 80 ounces of water per day to mean that much in drinking water. Actually you don't need nearly that much since that figure also accounts for water intake from other food sources. Some fruits are more than 50% water. Vegetables are also high in water content, as are many of the foods we prepare.
Recent studies have even shown that too much water intake can upset your electrolyte balance and overwork your kidneys, which are in charge of processing water and urea.
Kaitlin'smom replied: so then how do we figure how much we sould actully drink? I would not mind drinking less.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: This is true.
Most of your 'water' comes from what you eat. I posted something awhile back about this.
I'm only drinking about 40 oz a day of actual water. I drink more when I work out, but I figure my body needs it.

I had a big container of milk, a pop, and a tea. No water. I'm doing really bad for that lately.
Hey wait a minute, the jug that I must have swallowed in the pool today, does that count
My3LilMonkeys replied: I drank about 70 oz. I'm probably done for the night, maybe one more glass.
I try to get in at least the 64 oz. that seems to be a general guideline. More when I'm exercising or on AF.
I drink lots of water b/c I'm calorie counting so I'm not drinking soda or juice and I'm normally a big drinker.
redchief replied: I drink when I'm thirsty.
I should probably drink more, but I'm too lazy to get up and get it. I do drink water before, during and after my workouts... Good luck to you all on your exercise plans too BTW.
luvmykids replied: Hate to break it to you, but that was probably more pee than water!
I drink when I'm thirsty too, I drink a lot of coffee so more water probably wouldn't hurt though.
Chiflata2003 replied: How true that is....
jacobsmama replied: 20 oz here! And I had to force that down!!!!
