grocery cart covers - does anyone use one?

KingMom replied: We do. We used it faithfully until Colin was about 15 or 16 months and now we use it as needed.

Sometimes I just don't have the time to get it out of car anymore, being pregnant and having Colin makes every task take quite a bit longer than usual.

We still use it, just not as much.

mckayleesmom replied: No...I just take a baby wipe and wipe things down if I have time......I don't like dragging things around with me everywhere I go.

luvmykids replied: No, I just go over it with an antibac wipe. And hands after!

amberlynnie replied: I had one, but never used it. I always forgot it. you can do the baby wipe thing, or buy some of those sanitizer wipes too... easier to carry in your purse or diaper bag. good luck!

lisar replied: I use the one on the grocery cart. I love it. Its kinda hard to figure out till you do it at least once. Raygen loves it to cause she has something to play with on it. There are toys attached to it. I think it was a great invention.

Cece00 replied: I usually just wipe down w/ antibiotic wipes...I probably should get one, though, b/c she tries to chew on the metal, etc and even though I've wiped it down...ew. Plus, I know some come w/ toys attached & I'm forever dragging around toys to entertain her so it might be a good idea.

Where do you girls who have one buy them??

PrairieMom replied: I have a highchair cover, but I got it after The Boy was older. I plan on using it with The Girl tho. I want a grocery cart cover for when she is older too. I have seen them at Target.

It covers the entire cart, and seat!

MyLuvBugs replied: We got the one at Babies r Us call a "Floppy Seat". It's 100% cotton, so it's washable and it's really squishy soft for baby. We've stopped using it when Lorelei turned 1 or so. Not that she grew out of it, but I figured she's got a strong immune system now a couple germs won't kill her. lol But I totally understand about the high chairs at resturants. ICK!
