Not only is Christmas close we just had my DF's little brothers b'day on 10-2, then my DF's b'day was on 10-9, mine was 10-11, DF's dad is 10-29, his older brother is 11-13 and both of our children (Hanna and DSD Desiree) is 11-14, then his mom's is 11-22, if you want to go even further back my dad's was 9-16 and DF sister-in-law was 9-29so these last 4 months of the year we just want to hibernate or something because we stay broke 
Boys r us replied: Oh goodness!!!! I have two brother's with birthdays in October, Dh's birthday is December 20th oh yeah and our Anniversary is October 26th!

As far as October birthdays....we have 7 family birthdays in October and 1 co-worker birthday.  We are having one HUGE party this weekend for the 7 family birthdays since they are all on one side...DH's.

My2Beauties replied: I sware you guys make my days go by and put a smile on my face. I love Christmas time myself just don't like the strapped for cash feeling. However, DF and I saved up a lot this year and are going to be OK this christmas and ok for b'days too!
What is it with the month of February and conceiving babies?? Gosh us humans are busy during that month. Hanna was born 9 months to the day from Valentine's Day  but makes no sense because you're actually pregnant for a little longer than 9 months so we must have been busy end of January or something like that. Who knows!!

Which is a FIRST for me!
I like the rush of shopping in december, so I saved the non-immediate family members to shop for. But the kids and Rick..I'm almost DONE!

I just hope my boss is still giving me that $500 bonus like he has the past two years.

We don't get bonuses but DF does, last year he got over $1000 but Of course it's taxed  So I think he got like $700 or something like that! Oh well I can't complain it bought most of our Christmas, we had to put in some of our own money but that was definitely a help. Since he is a foremen this year he'll get a real big foremen's bonus! CHA-CHING!

Do you know how we get around the "taxing" in our office??? My co-worker and I opt for a mall gift certificate for $500 instead of the cash. The mall gift certiticate is good ANYWHERE because it's actually like a credit card so I don't even have to go to the mall to use it.
So what I do is buy all my groceries, etc, etc around the holidays with it and use the cash I was going to use on groceries, etc towards Christmas!

Kaitlin'smom replied: I do shopping through out the year with the intent of giving it for christmas, but when a birthday pops up they I give it then....we always say we are going to cut back this year but I seem to always find things at really good price, so it looks as though I have gotten to much but I have nto spent that much. I aslo started a christmas club with a bank I put a big chuck when we get tax money back andd then add a bit here and there, they cut the check in October, that really helps me get the last of the things I need. I need to go through my gift s and see what I have for who and make my list and then see what I still need, so I can finsh and not have to worry. I hope to get to that this weekend

three birthdays in november (me, Alyssa and her cousin Jake)
and two birthdays in december (BIL and Alyssa's cousin Savannah)
and I thought I had it bad we only buy for us, Alyssa and cousins.
for christmas I have NO idea about bonuses last year from the holiday inn dh got 100 dollars and this year since dh has a new job I don't know if he is going to get one.
We have 500 dollars on a sams credit card that we are going to use on everyone else and Alyssa (we can use it at walmart too so we are going to get alyssa like a 100 dollar kitchen )
