has anyone seen 9/11 truth? - scary stuff.....

Hillbilly Housewife wrote: it's about the collapse of the towers and it's made by the structural engineers or whatever, saying it's impossible for them to have just collapsed... that with the structural integrity the floors would have had a delay between them, even if the whole thing had falled, it shold have taken about 45 seconds... there's a recorded conversation about how the steel core in the middle was found to have asbestos and it would cost more to fix than demolish... and how there was a reason needed to invade Iraq... very scary!

I'm only about half hour into it though. Very interesting.

booey2 replied: Ya, I saw this I think a couple of years ago or something similar. I really am not into trying to delve into the how or why of it happening. It is a real interesting theory though.

mummy2girls replied: no but i think that kind of story would get me so mad!

punkeemunkee'smom replied: The story does tick me off! I watched the 3 hour special where all of the crap on there is totally debunked by engineers at some of the top schools and magazines explain what could have and did happen and why they 'truth' mockumentary was so off in their theories.

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
that's the one I'm watching. Not the Debunking 9/11 Debunking.

This story makes me so angry. I hope nobody's offended by my bringing it up.. unsure.gif I was just wondering if anyone's seen it.

punkeemunkee'smom replied:
No you did not offend me! Sorry if I sounded like I was...the conspiracy theories of 9/11 are what tick me off! growl.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: What did you think of all the experts comments?

I thought the worst part was when this one expert was on the news and the newscaster started cutting him off when he started talking about the thermite. even the media "knew better" than to let him talk... mad.gif

DVFlyer replied: I hate these types of things. Well, actually, I love them because I find it interesting to hear the opinions on both sides. But I hate the fact that you can watch two shows- one saying the towers shouldn't have fallen and one saying it's totally plausible for them to have fallen- and not know who to believe. blink.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: I like hearing about opposing theories, as well... but I have to say, I tend to lean on the laws of physics. wink.gif

Calimama replied: There's so many "9/11 truth" movies/stories/documentaries. rolleyes.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Yeah the ones I watched were actually called "911 Truth" and "911 Mysteries".

There's an opposition for everything. Ah well... took care of 2 hours of my time. emlaugh.gif

A&A'smommy replied: rolleyes.gif nah I don't get into that kind of stuff because only God REALLY knows what happened that day.

Kirstenmumof3 replied: ohmy.gif I haven't seen anything like that, mind you I don't have cable, but I would definately be interested. I did see the one that A&E mad shortly after 9/11 happened. Where it showed clips of the towers being built and the architectual plans.

Crystalina replied: I've never seen it but I heard the same thing about it being cheaper to demolish then fix. Some Yahoo on MSNBC said that a few weeks ago. I would like to think that our gov. would not kill all those innocent people (and the large number of children) just to save a buck or two.

Either way I'd like to watch it. Not sure if I would believe it but I'm always open to listen.

Crystalina replied: What channel was this one? Does it come on again?

I remember the morning it happened (before the second plane hit) DH said, "That buildings going down." I told him there was no way in heck. sleep.gif

sparkys2boys replied:
I agree to, it's just so sad no matter what the reason was.

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
I borrowed it from a friend, who'd recorded it. dunno.gif

jcc64 replied: I was just watching another 9/11 conspiracy documentary on the local cable access channel the other night. The film-maker came to our little town to screen it- we have a growing independent film community here as a result of an annual film festival. I must admit, I am predisposed to NOT believe the conspiracy theories- as much as I distrust our gov't, I can't allow myself to believe that they would do something so diabolical. Not that I don't think they're capable of it, but to think that way would destroy my sanity and faith in humanity in general. I watched the film nonetheless, and some of their arguments were pretty compelling, though I still believe the terrorists just got extraordinarily "lucky" with the North and South towers. I have to say, though, I am very suspicious of what happened to building #7- which "collapsed" later. The FBI, CIA, and other gov't agencies had offices in that building, and the nature in which that particular building collapsed was consistent with a controlled demolition.
