Boys r us wrote: the advertisements for those robot vaccum cleaners? I think they're called Roomba
Man..I'd be in heaven if I never had to vaccum again!
jen replied: OH YEAH!!! my sister told me about it for months before I finally saw one! I would love one!!!! My cats would prefer me to warn them before I get one though! ha ha!
Boys r us replied: I wonder if it really works?
jen replied: I don't know i have a Kirby Vacuum cleaner that has a lifetime warranty and was 1200 bucks so I don't think DH would understand me buying anything else! LOL!!!
But let me know I could probably sneak it! HA!
kit_kats_mom replied: I have one. I've posted a few times about it but I am a very satisfied customer. We bought it for two reasons. Our DD was 5 mos old and crawling around eating carpet fuzz and dirt off of the floor and we have a long wood entrance hall which gets filthy every time someone comes into the house but I can't sweep and swiffer every day.
It picks up cheerios and surface dirt from the carpet and it cleans the wood floors like a dream (it even gets under the cabinets!). You still need to vacum at least once a week, at least in our house, to get the deep down dirt but for a daily pickup, it is awesome!!! We let her loose at least once a day in our place.
As an added bonus, Katheirne likes to chase Roomba around and put her stuffed animals on it for a ride. LOL It's pretty funny to see a pink poodle go riding by on a robot.
We use it so much that we did have to buy a replacement battery after almost a year of use. It was pricey but soooo worth it if you are a neat freak like me.
Boys r us replied: Well, I saw it on TV and it was only like $199..which is awesome for a vaccum! I'm going to talk Rick into one, we have central vac..but how nice would it be to only vaccum once a week and still have clean floors!
A&A'smommy replied: I have one, its wonderful when I actually have it charged. They battery dies really fast and that is kind of a pain in the butt! It's works really good, and helps out a lot when alyssa wont let me put her down!
kimberley replied: you guys are so lucky! with my constantly shedding cat and the "debris" from 3 kids, i could really use something like that.
A&A'smommy replied: I know what you mean I HATE having a dirty floor, mine barely gets dirty and I FREAK out lol.
pinka_star replied: I'm with you Kim! I have to vacuum at least once a day and it's a pain. Emma is in the stage where she wants to pick up EVERYTHING and anything. Sometimes I really hate sticking my finger in her mouth cause I'm so scared to see what comes out of it. It would be nice to have a robot vac!!! Are they really only $199.00?!?!?! I thought they would be more expensive.

MilMunchMOM replied: I have wanted one of those ever since the first time i saw the commercial!!!!! I have a dog, cat and 3 kids oh yea and a dh! my kitchen is tiled and the rest of the house is carpet. I vacume 2 times a day. I have been called "anal" ?spelling? by a few friends, but it makes me feel better when my house is clean!
chloe&tysmommy replied: How NEAT!
I have never heard of that before!!! I think that is sooo cool!!! LOL
coasterqueen replied: We want one. DH keeps telling me to go buy one, but I just hate to spend the $200 on it when we bought a really good vacume less then 2 years ago.
TLCDad replied: Yoiu can also purchase and read reviews on the Roomba here at Parenting Club http://www.parentingclub.com/cgi-bin/shop....ba&mode=kitchen
We are thinking about getting one or two. The hign end model sounds nice.
