having trouble getting on PC!

My3LilMonkeys replied: I had that problem yesterday too! I have the Forum page bookmarked at home, so I never type it here, but yesterday I was at my MIL's house and wanted to show her something on here and when I typed it that page popped up.

When you say you click on www.parentingclub.com what do you mean where are you clicking the link? The site your clicking the link from might have spyware or something.

I have refreshed the home page many times and do not get this so I do not think it is a banner that is doing it.

This really sounds like something has infected your browsers. What browser toolbars (like yahoo, etc) do you have installed and what version of the browser are you using. IE7 for example?

As for bookmarking to the main forum page. Thats fine but please note we tend to put important notices on the home page so you might not want to do that.

The page pulls up for a second, then it forwards to the site.

I have throughly checked my computer, and I don't have anything. It has happened to me both using firefox (which is what I usually use) and IE7.

I do have the google search bar, but it came with firefox.

In order for me to keep it from happening, when it does, I have to go back to the site before I went to parenting club (which is different all the time) and re-type the site address, then try again. Usually I can get through. I can't just hit the back button, because doing so causes the forward to happen again.

ETA- this does not happen every time I come here, only every few days or so, then it will happen several times that day.

i just go to the address bar and pull down the parentingclub website and click and its keeps redirecting it to that porn site.
i have to close that window and start over to get into parents.

Maybe try deleting all your cookies and on and off line files under tools
delete browsing history click it and you will have a list to delete

lisar replied: This is happening to me also. I get redirected to a porn site. It is driving me insane. Its about every 3rd time I hit the site. I thought it was just my pc or something. I am using Mozilla Firefox.

It only happens when you are going directly to the main parenting club page, not the forums.
