havn't been on for awhile - Gwen's in hospital

sunshine girls wrote: My sister got here on Wednesday and I finally got to meet my neice, she's beautiful But we havn't got the chance to sit down and have a good talk because I've been at the hospital, Gwen got her appendix out on Monday night. On Sunday night she was complaining about her stomach and she had a fever. She started vomiting and the pain got worse, so we went to the emergency room. She had appendicitis and they kept her in to monitor her, in case she needed them out. I stayed with her and late afternoon on Monday she started complaining about the pain, which was weird because she was on pain medication. She was screaming because it hurt and I was freaking out, then they told me they were going to take them out and before I knew what was going on I was holding her while they put her to sleep.
She's okay now though, she's still in the hospital but James has gone to stay with her now. She bleed more than they expected and James wanted to look at her appendix, the surgeon let him They were all infected, James said they were disgusting. Gwen seem's to be alot happier today, the nurses all love her. Except Gwen doesn't like one of them because she wouldn't call her Gwenna.
My sister's here for 2 weeks so it'll be okay, we'll still get to have some fun together when Gwen comes home. I'm freaking out while she's in hospital, it's always better when they're home.

holley79 replied: Glad Gwen is better. I had an appendicitis when I was 16. It's amazing the difference in the pain as soon as it's gone. Can't believe he wanted to see it.

amymom replied: Bonnie, I hope Gwen comes home soon. My son had his appendix out a few years ago, on Thanksgiving! I was very glad to get him home. I can't believe that James wanted to see it!!!

sunshine girls replied: I went in to see her this morning and she's doing loads better, she's coming home tomorrow and James is staying with her again tonight. She told me she loves being in hospital because everyone gives her presents. And she got get well balloons.
