help me pick a fragrance - perfume

I did, however, find a lovely scent in a magazine on the plane this weekend. It was in either People, US, one of those mags and it was by, I think, Michael Kors.?. I don't recall it being of the vanilla scent, though. I loved it, though.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I have no suggestions since I am not a fan of vanilla-scents. I have sniffed different things that are Vanilla and they all smell semi-different. Just wanted to say GL with your search!

Do you have a perfume store in your town? We stopped at a couple recently and found some unexpected scents that we liked in things we had never heard of.

luvmykids replied: I've been wearing this scent from Victoria's Secret...I'm not sure what it's called but they have a whole line of shower/bath stuff and a really light body spray. It's not vanilla but very yummy I'll have to find the bottle.

Nope, it's Body by Victoria. I am addicted to it and I love it because just the lotion alone is enough to wear for everyday and then when I want some extra oomph the spray is just right to not send it over the top.

Right now I'm into Ralph Lauren, "Ralph". it's in a turquoise blue bottle..omg...smells crazy good!

mom2my2cuties replied: The Body Shop (most of them) have a special section too where you can customize a fragrance...Don't know how expensive it is though, since I have never done it. I can't do much vanilla, I will smell too much like the baked goods I usually end up smelling like by the end of the day. (Can you believe we made 2500 cookies this weekend )

Victoria Secret makes a scent called PINK...that is WONDERFUL! My husband gets me a bottle almost every christmas.

C&K*s Mommie replied: I have never smelled the second one, sounds lovely though. But the first ones (ebay) I have smelled before and have the typical sweet scent of vanilla.

Personally I would love to receive the second as a gift.

I love the brown sugar/vanilla stuff from B&B-works. Good luck.

Our Lil' Family replied: IMO the Vanilla Fields one smells cheap....so I'd go with the second one from B&BW.

I wear Victoria's Secret Heavenly too....and DH and I both love it! I can put on any other lotion or scent and he won't notice, but it never fails, he notices when I use Heavenly.
