i am so pathetic
kimberley wrote: well, Daddy and Jade had their first "outing" without me and i nearly had a heart attack lol. Jade had an appt this morning because she got another nose bleed yesterday. not as bad as the first one but enough for me to be concerned. her appt was at 9:30am but she was still sleeping so we pushed it back to 10:30am. neither of us really got much sleep last night and we are both fighting off a cold. anyways, i fell asleep and DH took it upon himself to let me sleep and take her to the dr himself. sweet of him but i have been in knots since they left. (i woke up when i heard the front door open and close). i held off for 40 minutes then frantically starting calling the dr's office... which of course, the line was busy. worried they sent her to the hospital and she is tripping out because she is hungry and wants to be nursed. a million crazy scenarios have gone through my head. finally the nurse picks up and tells me it is just busy in the office and that Jade is just fine and in with the ped. i have to give her cream and if it doesn't stop the nose bleeds, she will have to see an ENT specialist. ooohhh they are back! gtg!
DansMom replied: Aww, I would have felt the same way. It was nice of Jamie to give you a break, but you want to be there! I hope Jade will stop having nose-bleeds.
amynicole21 replied: I would have been just as anxious as you. Keep us posted!!
Boys r us replied: ((((HUGS))) Oh honey, yoiu're not pathetic, you're just a mommy and motherhood tends to make us all a little more paranoid than normal! I hope the cream works for her little nose!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: Awwww I know what you mean! My DH had to take Claudia for one of her appointments and I drove him crazy asking him questions! It was nice of him to want to give you a break, but next time he should wake you up and tell you that they are leaving!
Kaitlin'smom replied: awww your not pathetic your a mom, my DH wont take Kaitlin to the doc with out me they always have you fill out this questionair thing and he would be calling me to get some answers he is just a little clueless about somethings.
I hope the cream helps her
A&A'smommy replied: awwwwwiieee poor mommy!!! ((((HUGS)))) I would have been the same way!!! I hope she will stop having nosebleeds!!!
MommyToAshley replied: If you are pathetic, then so am I because I would have been the same way! That was really thoughtful of Jamie to let you sleep, he should get some brownie points for the gesture!!! Although, I think I would have wanted to be there too.
I hope the cream works, did they say what they think is causing the nose bleed? Keep us posted!
kimberley replied: because she is so congested from her cold and plain old hates the dr, he couldn't get a good look in her nose. they figure it might be a sensitivity to dryness.
and Jamie is a dear for giving me a break. huge brownie points once i calmed down from my own separation anxiety LOL. when i talked to him while he was still at the dr, he asked if i wanted him to bring me a coffee or anything... all i could say is "no, just my daughter please". he just rolls his eyes at me and laughs. i am hopeless when it comes to her
MommyToAshley replied: Poor girl! I hope the cream works!
AWWWWEEE! That is just the sweetest thing! It made me literally say "Awweee" out loud.
Mom2Boyz replied: I would have felt the same way You're not pathetic, just a loving mommy. It was nice of dh to let you sleep though (gotta give him some credit for that)
Josie83 replied: You're not pathetic Kimberley, like everyone else said you're just a caring mother. Your husband is sweet letting you sleep in though! I'm with Katin's mum, my boyfriend is hopeless at filling in forms for Cassie at the doctors or wherever too. Last time he filled in something for her he put my birthdate in instead of hers, and the doctor said "she's a bit small for a 20-year-old" . . . idiot!!
