mckayleesmom replied: Well..having a 2 year old on top of a baby...I have jarred food, but If I had the time I would love to make my own. But I like both.

5littleladies replied: I've always just used jarred, but if I had the time I would use homemade too. thumb.gif

MM'sMama replied: I think both are perfactly fine thumb.gif. With Brice I was a worry wort over everything so I only fed him homemade which he loved and I loved doing. Not sure if ill do that with Peanut yet though.

mummy2girls replied: Both are fine thumb.gif

I home made her main dishes such as lunches and dinner but i gave her jarred fruit... I found it cheaper this way as well:) Plus she ate the home made ones more... smile.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: 98% of what both kids ate in that consistency was jarred. Once things became diced instead of mashed it became home made

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: I make things like peas and sweet potatos because they are so cheap to buy fresh and cook. Freeze in bulk. But the pureed meats and fruit I get jarred. I suppose I could make it all, but it's just easier.

luvbug00 replied: we did Jar i'm too lazy to do homemade! rolleyes.gif

jacobsmama replied: Jar. For the convience. They like it just as well so there ya go. baby.gif

Sarah&Mackenzie replied: I use jars because they are convienent!!!!

ammommy replied: I did jarred until I could substitute "real" food. I hate the amount of sodium that's in some of the stage 3 foods.

maestra replied: I make all of my own. It hardly takes any time at all, and it's usually cheaper. I just bought some more fruit this morning, and some peas.

However, if we go on vacation, I do buy jarred when we get there.

gr33n3y3z replied:
My kids ate what we had for dinner
and I would grind it up or what ever it took at the dinner table and fed it to them.

Now if we went out to dinner I would get them pasta of some sort and smash it or chop it small.

And I always made extras and would freeze them in ice cube trays then when frozen pop the food out and freeze them in freezer bags

I would buy the baby food fruits
