Sal's job at Converse seems to be a joke. The store isn't getting many sales so they aren't meeting their goals so Sal's and everyone elses hours are getting CUT. Meaning, he isn't making enough ...
Our Business is growing like crazy right now but we won't see the return on that for about another month or two ... so ...
I have decided I will work nights. Sal is looking for another job but in the meantime we need some extra income. I only plan on working part time maybe a few nights a week and on the weekends. BLAH ...
Sorry for the rant ... just sick of searching for a job already and I jsut started today ...

luvbug00 replied: Eww i hate job hunting. Try maybe a baby store (babies are us, right start, gap baby) I looked for a job I would benifit from when i was preg and gave birth. I worked at a daycare and so I got a hudge discount for her care. KWIM. Kim my friend is gonna work at a kids clothing store and she get's a discount for her kids clothes.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Have you ever thought about being a consultant for someone? Like Partylite or Pampered Chef? I've never done it, but know quite a few people who do really well from them, and they can choose their own days and hours.
holley79 replied: I'm sorry sweetie. It really does stink when you have to look for a job. Good luck sweetie.

J-rod replied: job hunting sux...but i would diasgree on like babies r us or something....you wanna make money not spend it. when i worked at advance auto (second job to make extra for house) i ended up spending 1/2 my check in parts.....because of the discount.
good luck though.....
luvbug00 replied:
J-Rod is probaly right but I'm a big spender so that's what i did plus we didn't BF or anything so I nedded the discount.
CantWait replied: Welcome to the wagon. Good luck.
C&K*s Mommie replied: Good luck in the job hunting. I otoh, would agree to work at a baby store or a store for children. If you are disciplined enough with your money (it seems that you may be, since you have your own business, bought a place, and are young) you could still bring home enough to compensate until the business earnings grow even more. My mother works p/t at a boutique for children and tweens, and she is able to get so many discounts for our girls, I am excited now about being able to buy hairbows and accessories without having to pay an arm & a leg for it.
Good luck!
