boyohboyohboy wrote: is it just me, or does anyone elses husband tend to leave things in his pants pockets? last week it was a pen, then it was kleenex, and then it was a exacto knife.. usually its money... how come he wont empty his pants????
mummy2girls replied: because he is a man. i think its inthe code book for all men.. do not strain one self from cleaning out ones pockets before placing in laundry basket...LOL
luvbug00 replied: K I have to defend him here. I leave EVERYTHING in my pockets. froma small tick tack to a $100 bill. u name it , I wash it. here is why.. I am too lazy to pull it out, I forget to pull it out, I forget it exsits all together, I am a chipmunk discusied as a human.
mom2my2cuties replied: My husband is GREAT about emptying his pockets ( I have a rule $$$ found in laundry is MINE to do as I please with it - it is no longer family money at that point)
I am the one who has gone through and I kid you not 14 drivers license because I forget they are in my back pocket!
redchief replied: You all are so silly. That's where us men leave your allowance.
PrairieMom replied:
Actually, I have MY DH on an allowance.
holley79 replied: Shawn always cleans out his pockets but I don't.
coasterqueen replied:
Wish that was the case in my house. That would mean I get an extra allowance.
Nope, my husband is very good about not leaving things in his pocket. There is the occasion where he has, but it's usually because I've snagged the clothes to wash them before he had a chance.
I, on the other hand, am absolutely TERRIBLE about leaving things in my pockets.
Our Lil' Family replied: Tim always cleans out his pockets, usually right when he walks in the door......now if he could manage to get his things in his nightstand where they BELONG instead of my bathroom counter! That's a whole other thread!
~Roo'sMama~ replied: I'll remember that next time I find money in the washing machine!
Scott hardly remembers to empty his pockets either. I'm finally starting to remember to check them, but I've washed his chapstick, eye drops, money, and receipts (those are fun clean out of the laundry ) so many times. I guess I'd better get used to it because who knows what I'll be finding in Andrew's pockets in a couple of years.
Boo&BugsMom replied: Troy is pretty good about it, but I do many times have to check them. It's usually loose change and misc. pieces of paper. Now Tanner is doing it. He'll draw a picture, put it in his pocket, and forget about it. I guess it starts early!
CantWait replied: That's my rule as well
