name mispronunciations

Most people get Ashley right, so I am lucky there.

5littleladies replied: People always aske me if Madeline is pronounced with an in (which it is) or an ine (as in wine), they ask me if Meg's name is MEgan or MEGGan (second one) ,and they ask me if Brianna is BriAnna or BriAHnna. I didn't think I'd have to worry about Alyssa's name but I guess I'm wrong about that.

So far no one has said Maddison wrong, just spell it wrong and Im hoping Kaden isnt mis pronounced eaither.

People mis pronounce our last name, WHITE like the color how do you say that one wrong????

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: People don't get Wil wrong except for they forget that we spell it with only one L. But I have heard people say my name with the E in the middle instead of at the end, like Rea. Almost like Rio but with an A.

Boys r us replied: Oh I hate it..hate it...Well with Tanner..people call him Taylor or Tyler sometimes..which I don't really get, that's just plain ignorance! but with Braedon, people will frequently call him Brandon. Which..if you're not paying close attention to the spelling, I can see how a quick glance at his name could produce Brandon. But, I will never forget the first time I took Brae to his newborn check up and the nurse came out in to the hall..OMG...HIS ENTIRE name was butchered! Poor baby!

First let me say,without broadcasting our last name on the internet... our last name rhymes with pelki (pel-key) and the nurse comes out in the waiting room adn she says, "Brandon pel-ik-eye" I didn't even budge at first..I was like..uhh that's not us..then it hit me all of a sudden..it WAS us!
