oh boy...what have we done - family for christmas

J-rod wrote: ok well to set the scene. lol we have a 3 bed 1 bath house, with 2 living rooms, kitchen, etc. BUT we only use the downstairs right now cause the upstairs is FREEZING....so we moved our bed down to the living room. the other living room has the couch and the bar. so needless to say the house isnt that roomy anymore.

well we decided to invite all of my family up on dec. 23 for christmas with kyan (as we called it) we invited everyone..literally everyone thinking most of them wouldnt come...its a 2 hour drive.


well guess what they are ALL COMING i mean everyone who got the invite is coming

so in our now 1 floor house we have:

WOW - what have we started. lol luckily everyone is bringing a dish as well so that will be nice...but we dont have the room for this.

but this will be the first time everyone has been together since my parents divorce 2-3 years ago. so it should be nice.

hoosier momma replied: It really won't be that bad. My husband has nine brothers and sisters. So all of his siblings and their families squeeze into his parents two bedroom and one bathroom house. Good luck though.

Agreed... my dad has 10 siblings and all our families fit very cozily in my grandparents' 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house.

mom21kid2dogs replied: We have a two bedroom house and we had 21 for Thanksgiving. It's actually kind of fun!!! Everone just brings food & areo beds. It's amazing how it all works out!
