I have always been considered psychic (for those of you who believe in that), have seen ghosts since i was three (the earliest incident that i can remember) and used to get paid serious money to read people's tarot cards, i sometimes still do but for the most part i gave up that craft when i seriously took on photography b/c reading tarot cards took up so much energy that i was too exhausted to get a good shoot. (i hope that didn't totally freak out some of you religious people)
i was approached in the ocean by a ten foot bullshark that was feeding (fin out of the water) and it still baffles the handful of marine biologists that i told that i didn't at least get bitten

coasterqueen replied: I was labeled a rebel in highschool

My boyfriend my senior year and I were labeled "Cutest Couple" ICK!

I've had some sort of relationship with a boy/guy since I was in 6th grade. I've never gone more than a week being single. blush.gif Dad was right, I was and always will be boy crazy! cool.gif

I tried to commit suicide when I was younger. I decided I did the wrong thing and called my mom.

Parents kicked me out when I was 16 after I wrecked the car, wasn't all my fault, and I went to live with a friend. Was dragged back home 6 months later. I guess my parents wanted me to live in a different hell than what I was already living in. rolleyes.gif

Was kicked out again at age 17, living with my boyfriend and his parents (my senior year). Things got really hairy there so I begged my parents to take me back only to get an ultimatum I wasn't going to accept and moved out 2 weeks before I turned 18. I had no where to go.

I dated a 30 year old guy when I was 16. He was my boss. blush.gif

I worked in greenhouse settings from the age of 15 to 18. It was my passion and I always dreamed I would own one. I do not have a green thumb anymore.

Odd things about me....ummmmm laugh.gif

When I was little I had imaginary dogs and I talked about them all the time-when my mom and I took a trip to a place I had never been before(a plantation tour) I took my mom to a house well in the back of the property like I knew where I was going and told my mom this is where my dogs were...The lady there said she 'knew me' and I was reincarnated blink.gif It freaked my mom out! laugh.gif

I remember the floor plan of every house we or any family have ever lived in smile.gif

I get feelings about people-and if they are bad feelings or uneasiness-I have not been wrong yet blink.gif It is kinda funny but Bill even just says Ok I trust you now...

A man in a car tried to grab a friend of mine and I when we were walking home from the pool one day when I was about 12-when the police found him he was not alone in the car(there was another man with him) He was wanted on warrants and he died that night in police custody....There was little statues in his back window of his car and now little statues (kinda wooden carving looking ones) FREAK me out...Anytime I picture an evil man he comes to mind and I can still see his face sad.gif

I eat candy-corn one color at a time and Tay does too laugh.gif

I bite grapes in half when I am eating them...

I ALWAYS look in a straw and blow through it (spider story unsure.gif ) before I use it or put it in Tay's drink and now Bill does it too laugh.gif So do a few more close friends laugh.gif

I can remember the lyrics to a song after the first time I hear it and Taylor seems to as well...I also feel music- wacko.gif sounds crazy I know....I really can't explain it...

I have said it before but I 'hear' the voices of people in books and on here when I am reading.

OK I think I have probably made myself sound crazy enough by now! wacko.gif blink.gif emlaugh.gif

I continued to grow after high school, finally becoming fully grown at the age of 20.
I once won a halloween contest dressed as a woman... Neither the judges or the announcer knew whether I was male or female.

That's enough for now. smile.gif
Great dirt everyone. thumb.gif

Nina J replied: I went to a party once and got really drunk. I woke up at 6 in the morning, asleep on a bus..I still have no idea how I got there, no one that was at the party knows either. The last time people remembered seeing me was at 1 in the morning..I don't know where I was, or what I was doing between one and six.

Apparently, when I was almost 3, I attempted to run away from home 6 times in one day. I didn't get more than a block away. I don't remember that, but I do remember running away from my dad when I was four. We were in the supermarket and he wouldn't buy me some chocolate, so I left.

My dad accidently dropped me on my head when I was six and knocked me out.

I also got knocked out by a toilet door. It didn't have a lock on it and someone opened the door really fast. The door hit me in the head and knocked me out.

When I was in high school, my friend was sucking on a lollypop while turning a corner, and stabbed me in the eye with the stick. It was the only time I have ever seen my dad cry because he thought I was going to be blind. (I ended up being fine after a couple of days.)

My dad is gay and has a "husband"
I've moved more times then I care to remember
I used ot live in Japan

my2monkeyboys replied: Ok... I'll sound pretty tame compared to most, but here's some info on me...

My dad's sister married my mom's brother, so all of us kids are double-first cousins. There is no incest, just very close to it! LOL

my dad was an alcoholic/druggie/dealer and was in prison for almost 2 years when I was in 6th-8th grade.

While he was locked-up my mom was forced to "resign" from her job with the bank of 13 years bc they said she posed a risk since my father was what/where he was. Bc of that, we lost our vehicle and tv, and we had to move in with my aunt for a few months. We were on food stamps for about 6 months, and my mom cried every day bc of it.
We had to visit my dad on the weekends. They searched us coming and going. Also, none of my friend's parents would let them or me come over for the first year or so. Can't say that I blame them, but it sure was lonely. It really sucked.

He has since become a Christian and pastored a church for over 8 years. He and my mom are still married. He was diagnosed as bi-polar a few years ago.

I have never done any kind of drug, though they ALL were [U] readily [U] available to me from the time I was born. My dad used to keep big trash bags full of pot in our dryer, and we had a pot plant (his personal one) in our back yard. He kept the harder stuff in his room on a bookshelf.

I also HATE cigarettes, so much that I almost gag if I have to touch one or even the package. Obviously I have never smoked one either. (My mom smokes.)

I hate when people blame their present problems (and their future problems) on the past they had. I could have grown up to be a very different person had I chose to let those things define who I am. I chose to be my own person.

The first time I drank alcohol I was in 9th grade at my best friend's house and we both sat in her room playing board games and got smashed... I can't remember parts of that night still.

I always wanted to be a veternarian growing up, and never wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. Then I had Will. Now I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom. Go figure! rolleyes.gif

I love working in the yard, planting things, learning about plants... but my yard looks like crap bc I never have time to work in it!

I've never broken a bone, but I did slip off a bike seat when I was 8 and cut my "girlie" area... I had to be taken to the ER and threw up for a few hours after wards. It all healed nicely though.

My house stays a wreck. I clean it all in a day or so, then it's right back to normal with stuff everywhere.... but I don't mind. We live in it, we enjoy it. I [U] do not [U] enjoy cleaning. blush.gif laugh.gif

Sorry for the long post! blush.gif

Crystalina replied: I was engaged to my high school sweetheart for 3 yrs. We broke it off I married DH and we were all friends. Kenny, my ex died a couple of years ago in a work related accident and when DH is out of town I visit his grave. Kenny was an only child and his mom still calls me all the time to talk. She cries about never having more children and she has Kennys little boy (well, he's about 10 now) and he's the spitting image of his father.

DH and I eloped and got married at 10:30pm at the preachers house. The preacher wore his jammies and his wife played the piano in her hot pink fuzzy robe and matching fuzzy house shoes. rolling_smile.gif It was the best money we never spent. My sister ended up wearing my dress a few years later. DH and I wore Harley t-shirts and jeans. It worked for us.

I married the bass player, guitarist and the drummer. He did it all and was in a band for awhile.

I'm a basket weaver and used to sell them all the time. Now I only make them as gifts.

I'm a Johnny Depp freak and know just about every line in any of his movies. I also go to Johnny Depp forums but mostly for recent pics, t.v. appearences that kind of thing. It really is a sickness. Even my kids are JD nuts.

I live in a trouse. Half trailor/ half house. I love it and it's big. So that would make me trouse trash. rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

I was a corrections officer for a couple of years in a male prison (medium security) and it sucked. You can truly learn to hate men with a job like that. I was extremely stressed while working there because everyday I had to put up with crap. It turned me mean and I had to quit. It's hard to be mean all day to men (you can't be nice or people talk) and then come home and be nice to DH. I came home a big grump butt all the time so I had to leave that. It was the best thing I did. The money wasn't worth the stress.

I've also worked with Alzheimers patients for about 8 yrs. That's what I was doing when I quit working to be a mommy. I hope to return to that job when the kids are older. That was the best job. It also has alot of stress at times but it was a differnat stress. I still visit with my patients. Some remember me some don't. happy.gif They are all great and it's so sad we cannot find something to reverse the process that these women (mostly) go through. I did have men patients but there were fewer of them.

I named both of my children from charaters on t.v.

I love old movies especially (and these are my absolute favorites),
Gone With The Wind
West Side Story
Bye Bye Birdie
Seven Brides For Seven Brothers

I was a Duranie in the 80's (Duran Duran) and still think John Taylor is a cutie. I also had a huge crush on Boy George when I was a kid. Then I learned he was gay and was crushed. I REALLY didn't know. I was a kid!

I was in Marching band in HS. I was a flag girl and I can still twirl like crazy. I've taken the kids out and showed them how good mommy is with throwing and twirling a broom in the yard. I still got it. biggrin.gif

At my old job I was Emoyee of the Month on many many occasions. I never missed a day of work and I was also voted SnowFlake Princess right before I found out I was pg with Izabella. Hey, SnowFlake Princess was a big deal. rolling_smile.gif

I used to smoke alot but quite with pregnancy.

I had an eating disorder years ago, I struggled with it until I had Andrew and now I know I'll never do that again.

I used to speed all of the time (75-80 in a 55 zone and 90 on the freeway) but now I'm slow and drive so cautiously it drives DH nuts.

I HATE being tickled.

I have a freaky obsession with putting lotion on my feet. I can't handle the dry feeling and if I go to bed without putting lotion on them I can't sleep.

I'm claustrophobic and can't have a blanket over my head for longer than a few seconds.

I'm living my dream: All I've ever wanted to do is be a wife and mother. When I was young I asked my mom if it was ok if I didn't go to college because all I wanted to be was a stay at home mom like her. wub.gif

MyBlueEyedBabies replied: I have only broken mt little finger and my little toes but have spent more time bandaged than anyone I know...between sprains, strains, and seemingly undiagnoseable knee problems.

Our Lil' Family replied:
ME TOO! I have never known anyone else to have stiches there besides myself! It was actually the handle bar that cut me when I turned too hard...and it was a boy bike! OUCH!

Ok, what else about me.....

I was in 5th grade when I had my first kiss and it was playing truth or dare.

I went all the way to the east coast (Damneck, VA) to see my ex-boyfriend who was in A-school for the Navy as my "Senior Trip".

I don't shave my legs until absolutely necessary, like this morning because I wore a skirt to church.

I have my 10 year HS reunion this weekend and I already have butterflies in my stomach. I pray my ex (mentioned above) does not show up!

I have to breathe fresh air. I cannot lay with DH's nose above mine because the hot air from his nose hits my face and that is why I'm not a big fan of kissing either.

When I was 12, I found out that my dad wasn't my biological father but he adopted me when I was 3 years old.

I am overly protective with Ashley and Tyler. Sometimes when they aren't with me I almost have go into panic attacks worrying if they are alright.

I never met my biological father. When I was 21, I tracked him down to Vancouver, BC. I also found out that my mother never told him that she was pregnant with me. Before we got a chance to meet, he passed away.

I lived on a 37 foot tri-maran for 3 years with my mom, evil step dad and step brother. We sailed around SF bay every weekend.

I volunteered at the wildlife rehab in my hometown when I was younger. I really enjoyed nursing sick wildlife back to health and releasing them back into the wild.

I found my dad when I was 16 after not having any contact with him for 14 years. Realized he's an alchoholic among other things and haven't made much effort to contact him since. I will admit that I now think he's totally insance because I've emailed him links to our webpage every month. Sure, he can diss me but those little granddaughters? Jerk. I really don't expect to feel a twinge of sadness when he finally dies. blush.gif

I've lived in Hawaii, San Francisco, Florida, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Lousiana and Idaho. We moved every single year of my life until my mom joined the air force and married a navy guy, then it was 3 year stints in each state until we finally settled back in Florida.

I had just broken off my engagement from my BF of 7 years, when I met my DH in a bar. But I liked his best friend and my best friend was more his type. It took a year before we decided to date. rolling_smile.gif

Ok, this is totally gross and please no one slam me for this, my DH teases me enough. I put 1/3 c sugar on my cereal. Usually grape nuts. blush.gif

I am arachnaphobic due to a bad drug interaction in HS. I hallacunated that a spider sac burst and every hair on my body was a baby spider. All over my arms and everything. Now I literally barf when I see a spider...they FREAK me out.

I can't sing a lick or play any intstruments.

I am a klutz

I used to have a blue mohawk and be a club kid.

I loved gay clubs and one of my best friends in college was a transexual named Toni Denise. S/he actually hadn't had the full surgery at the time but he had great boobs.

When I was younger, I'd have premonitions when bad things were going to happen. For example, one day before school I didn't feel really sick, but I felt a pit in my stomach. My mom made me walk to school anyway (I was 7) and halfway there, I passed an open garage and a man was standing there...uh...pleasuring himself and watching me. blink.gif

I once got in a bar fight with a girl who had been giving me grief for months because she thought I'd slept with her DF. I hadn't, even though he was super hot, but he did pass out on the couch at my house. She wouldn't let it go and one night at a club, she threw a drink at my head. I lost it and beat her up. I ended up breaking 3 of her ribs and her nose. I'm so glad she didn't press charges. unsure.gif

My family takes in stray people all the time. I have an "aunt" who is no blood but she's been coming to family gatherings ever since I can remember. There are loads of others too. rolling_smile.gif

I broke my nose in gymnastics, the day before halloween when I was 8. I was going to be a ballerina but instead, my mom made me a boxer. laugh.gif

I was never hospitalized until I had my babies.

I used to sleepwalk. I would clean and organize things. My college roomates hated it because they'd wake up in the morning and all of the coffee mugs would be moved into a different cupboard. LOL

I quit HS when I was 16 and started college and working full time. I finally got my degree when I was 30.

I always wanted to be a vet, but I'm awful at math.

Related to that, my mom was dating my HS math teacher which is why I passed...with D's.

I ran away from home when I was 16 and blew up the engine of my 1971 super beetle. Left it on the side of the highway, hitchiked home with a group of harley people, and never saw the car again.

I would hate to work at a prison... going to one regularly was bad enough, and the prisoners for the most part, were on their best behavior on visitation day. I couldn't imagine how they are to employees. Well, actually I could. That's why I'd never work at one.

Another thing about me... I have anxiety attacks about fires breaking out at night and buildings collapsing (I mean real [U] attacks [U]... hyperventilating, unplugging everything in the house that I can reach, pure craziness). I've never had either happen, and I am supposed to me on medication for it. I just hate taking meds.

Also, I can't stand for anyone to touch my feet, no even myself hardly.

Our Lil' Family, I know exactly what you mean about breathing in other people's air. I can't stand that! And I can't have covers too close to my face either or I'll breathe my own air. Makes me feel like I'm suffocating!

yes, I know I'm truly crazy... but my DH loves me this way!

Crystalina replied:
Well, it's probably hard to believe but the inmates weren't really that bad. Yea, there is the lying and the cat calls and snide remarks but the ones you really have to watch when you work in a prison are the other officers. It's a sad truth that most of the male officers are "donkeys" when it comes to a female officer and they will degrade you in every way. And God forbid you are married (like I was) and can't go out after work and party with them. Then you are a stuck up snob. dry.gif Nope, the inmates aren't the problem at all. Most of them know their place and are repectful and only want to do their time and leave. I remember one day in the chow hall, it was July 4th, and there was one cocky officer who got in the inmates faces while they were eating and he was yelling, "Happy F#@!ing Independence Day! How are you liking your F$@#king freedom?" There are way too many officers like that. You can be a good officer and not be an @ss. I guess I wasn't an @ss enough. happy.gif

I smoked a lot in HS

Started college while in HS but it still took me like 5 years to get my Associates (I didn't go full time)

I'm not allowed to go to or call my dad's house because of my step-monster. I can call him on his cell phone, however you can probably guess how my relationship w/him is. Funny thing is, they've been together 17+ years but have only been married for a year. Don't you think she would have known before she married him, "Hmm, I don't like her, maybe I shouldn't marry this guy". She's a psycho, and has tried to get me fired even.

My 1/2 brother and I are close (he actually live w/me and my bf for 5 months this year) we've only reacently "gave him back" to my mom (he's 16 tomorrow). He's a great kid (although I found out first hand how hard raising a teenager who is used to doing what he pleases), and I feel bad that he has to live w/a mom that hasn't had a job in almost 2 years, and does drugs and is an alcoholic. sad.gif

I was a geek in school and didn't come out of my shell and actually become somewhat pretty till I was about 20, it didn't last long lol.

I smoked, drank, and did some drugs for about 10 months straight. I only stopped completely after meeting Ron.

I am very tempermental and got in trouble lots in school because of it. Again I stopped only when I found out I was pregnant with Robbie, I always thought of him as my angel angel.gif He completely changed my life.

I was molested as a child by 2 family members.

I bite my nails. *boring*

I have never been anywhere outside of North America.

The woman stopped that had hit me and tried get me go to the hospital, but I told her no, I was fine (I had ran away from home, I was 16) she was worried I'd tell my parents it was a hit and run. I did end up going to the ER, later that same day, I was really lucky I didn't have any broken bones or got hurt worse then I did. I only had some scraps on my knees and arms, but I payed for it for like a week afterwards.

The same ex-friends (same day I got hit by the car) stole my dad's truck. Because I wanted to run away. We rode around all over the place, until we stopped at some store so they could make some phone calls. The cops had caught up to us, because my best friends mom called them on us.

My dad was teaching me how to drive (I was about 15), and when I was going to pull into the driveway. I pushed on the gas instead of the brake, and the truck ran into a tree. I still get teased from time to time about this from my dad. He said I was trying to climb the tree.

I started dating Rob when I was 17 and he was 29.

I use to stay with my grandparents on some weekends (Rob was their neighbor), I would sneak out and go over to his house for a few hours, after everyone was in bed. Then sneak back over to their house.

I didn't have every many friends in school, I was pretty much a out cast.

I moved out of my parents house a week after I had turned 18, and moved in with Rob.

I didn't get along very well with my mom when I younger and was scared of her. She was kind of abusive. We get along better now then when I was living at home, though she still has her moments when I want to say something.

I didn't get my license until I was 20 years old.

At least I want the only one smile.gif

CantWait replied: Thought of more.

I occassionally still suck my thumb at night blush.gif
My one thumb is shorter then the other because of sucking it for so long.
I've had only 2 relationships, but 4 one night stands.
I hate to have my neck touched by anyone.

Calimama replied: My husband spoils me like crazy and it drives his family nuts.

I've never met ANYONE on my dad's side of the family, dont know where he's from, or if his name is actually HIS name.

I used to have an eating disorder and everyone CONSTANTLY freaks out when I diet.

my2monkeyboys replied: Something else... I have a strange OCD type deal. I've never been "diagnosed" but my whole family tells me I have it. I usually have to follow stuff (patterns, billboards, etc) with my eyes and I'll outline things/trace over them with my jaw, too. You can't hardly tell I'm doing it with my jaw unless I get into it. Freaks DH out sometimes! I also have to move my fingers to different rhythms, esp if DH and I are holding hands. The bad thing is I do it so much that I usually don't realize it until someone tells me. And then I can't really stop until I've written/traced/finished the rhythm an equal number of times.

toady_buckshot_noodle replied: I can turn my arms all the way around so that the insides of my elbows are facing out and my hands are facing front again.

I eat ketchup on potato chips (heinz only)

but

I will not touch a tomato (go figure).

A 15 year old had a crush on me this year (hehe) too cute.

I recently lost 40 lbs. and I swear all of it came off my butt!

I sucked my thumb until I was nine and still sleep with it against my chin.

I twirl my hair and sometimes stick it in my ear (???).

My husband held a gun to my head once when he was drunk (he doesn't drink anymore, I never did).

I have never been drunk, never even drank a beer.

I have never smoked a cigarette.

I have never done any illegal drugs.

I think I have a ghost in my house.

PrairieMom replied:
Me either. Both my parents drink beer pretty heavily, so now I can't stand the smell of the stuff. i can't get it near my nose.

I never had a sip of alcohol until after I was 21, (when it became legal)

luvbug00 replied: ~ I've been clubbing since i was 13

~ drinking since 12

~ i think i may be a closet alchohalic. ( i love vodka way too much especially when i'm in a mood) although it doesn't effect my daily life so does that really make it alcohalisam?? and i never drink arround Mya so I dunno but i love hard liquer.

~ I own 3 fake ID's from my past. none of the girls look like me. ( i should dig them up and scan them so you can see. it's really funny! smile.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied:
OMG...is he STILL your husband?? ohmy.gif

Insanemomof3 replied:
That is me too! I know his name, but nothing else. sad.gif

Simplebeliever replied:
That's how I am!

I'm 25 y/o. I'm just barely 5 feet and I weigh around 95 pounds. I have to buy clothes from the girl's section.

People who don't know me well usually think I have an eating disorder.

85% of my diet is junk food.

I've broken all of my fingers, my toes, my wrist, and a few bones in my lower leg.

I'm a super clutz and it is not uncommon to see me walk into a door. The worst is when I some times accidently bang my daughter's head when I'm getting her into the car.

J-rod replied:
same here....heinz is the only ketchup i can eat.

redplaydoh replied: I don't find my things very interesting, but some of the others I read on here... WOW!

I used to be a baton twirler in high school.

I can't stand the taste/smell of alcohol.

I gag/throw up over onions, even smelling someone cutting them will send me to the bathroom. I can smell even one piece of onion on a McDonald's burger while it's still in the bag.

Both my kids were conceived through IVF. One cycle, but Bryan spent a short time in the freezer.

I was sexually abused by my step-father for over 8 years. Jerk!

I have a weird obsession with wanting my kids to have pacifiers, color matching the pacifiers with their outfits. I had well over 100 pacifiers of all colors at one time very recently.

I cannot resist buying strumpfhosen (tights worn in the winter) for my boys. It is very common here that boys wear tights in the winter. I just have to have every color/design out there. I just bought dragons and helicopter print ones last week. This year will be easier being here where it is common.
