I'm relieved in the smallest sense that this family has a little bit of closure.

It had/has been reported that the boyfriend/father actually confessed to be involved in the murder and that there was another person (unknown at this time) and that is what helped lead them to the scene. I just can't fathom in my mind how any individual could do something so horrendous... and in front of an innocent baby... and then to leave him there, alone in that apartment for days. That's just horrible.

The whole story is terribly disturbing.

remember a few years ago this happened, but the baby came out of the mother and they were found in a field or something? all i can remember is the babys name was hunter

In Kentucky a few years back there was a really horrible semi wreck where a husband and wife couple were driving through town when their truck crashed and the woman who was pregant was thrown from the truck. Long story short, the baby was ripped from her abdomen in the collision.

The amazing thing to come out of it was that it was only a 14 or 15 year old girl living on a farm nearby that heard the wreck and found the baby several feet from the mother and had the sense to tie off the cord and wrap and keep the baby warm until paramedics could arrive.

The mother died instantly but the baby survived and the dad named him after the young girl "Patrick" after her name, "Patricia"...

It's been several years and I still remember that story so well...

I agree... that was the saddest and sickest part of the whole thing. I have a feeling he may have hired someone to kill her... apparently in the supposed confession he admitted that there was a second person involved. I just can't even begin to imagine the sick mind of a human being who would do something like that.

I have to wonder what else that little boy saw too... and how much he said because clearly though they stated the boyfriend wasn't a suspect from the beginning, he was. Hopefully he's young enough that he won't remember this as he gets older.

And I agree, it's a good thing that this little boy has a loving family to raise him.

Very, very sad. That poor girl, the baby, and the poor little boy.

I dont get why people do that. Do they honestly think they will get away with it?????? You KNOW you will get caught, how stupid do you have to be to murder someone??? Especially a pregnant woman. Especially a woman pregnant with YOUR baby. And she was raising his son, too. Idiot.

I was so hoping this was going to turn out differently. but you kinda knew she wouldnt have left her two yr old alone.....
this is such a gutt wretching story. i just hope that two yr old can forget what he saw and live a happy life.
