Maddie&EthansMom replied: I do eat it and LOVE it. Brownie batter is my favorite. On occasion I will let Maddie lick the spoon, but not often. I don't think she's ever had cookie dough.

5littleladies replied: I make whole batches of cookie dough just to eat. I'm with Aimee-Brownie batter is my favorite! Yes, I do let the girls lick the spoon and clean out the bowl when we make cookies. I've never worried about it.

Brias3 replied: I started off by telling the kids that they can't eat anything with raw egg in it so now I'd probably let them have a lick once in awhile but they won't I, however, will sneak and eat it. Cookie dough is the best

My3LilMonkeys replied: I love it! The girls get tastes when DH isn't home - he doesn't like them to have it.

Another thing I'm terrible about is raw hamburger - I love the stuff. And I feel so guilty eating it and then telling Brooke she can't have it but so far she's only had it once.

I know...it sounds gross and it can be really dangerous with the e.coli. I love it though! And since I eat my burgers medium rare I'm at risk for the e.coli anyway so I just don't eat it very often. My mom used to do it when I was a kid so I guess it's a weird family thing.

I won't let the girls have it but Brooke stole a bite once and loves it. I have to hide to make hamburger patties or meatloaf so she doesn't see me.

MoonMama replied: I do eat cookie dough, but I try to buy the dough from the store to do this. I read somewhere they use power egg or something else in them so its safe to eat raw due to chances or a law suit or something. But I could be totally wrong just something I read somewhere.

C&K*s Mommie replied: Never have eaten it. Been meaning to give it ago, but I have not as of yet. I have eaten it in ice cream, but I did not like it.

If I did try it, I would let my girls try it too.

coasterqueen replied: I have eated raw cookie dough/batter and I at least lick the spoon once while baking. I don't bake often because it's dangerous for my buns , but when I do Kylie always helps me and she begs to lick the spoon too. I let her once or twice and then tell her no more.

DillsMommy replied: My mom never let me eat it as a kid cause of the raw eggs. Now I'm paranoid to let my son eat it.. lol. Some times I'll sneak a little bite. Cookie dough blizzards from DQ are the BEST though. Yummy!

Jackie012007 replied: my mom would never let me eat it and she made me paranoid about it, I can't even force myself to eat cookie dough ice cream although it sounds good because she pounded the raw eggs thing into my head

wow never heard of eating raw hamburger.. not only worried about the e-coli, but you can get tapeworm too
