sad
~Roo'sMama~ wrote: Dh took my cat to the vet to have her put down. She's 15+ years old, and it was just becoming impossible for us to keep her. Even though I was getting so sick of cleaning up after her I'm really sad - I cried when dh took her. I've had her for so long. And I feel guilty for not giving her much attention over the last few months.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Sara, I am sooo sorry. I know how you must feel. My parents put my 18 year old cats to sleep while I was away at school. It was awful to come home to an empty house with no pusscats sprawling on the furniture. Hugs to you sweetie.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: I am sorry! That is sad!
Insanemomof3 replied: How sad! I hope you can get through this without too many sad moments.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Thanks. I'm still feeling bad but I think I'm done crying ~ I hope anyways. Having pets is so hard - I grew up on a farm and we always had cats or dogs dying and it never got any easier. But this cat was my first cat that was actually mine only - I'd had her since I was 9 or 10.
MM'sMama replied: I'm so sorry
A&A'smommy replied: I'm sorry sweetie its ALWAYS hard to loose a pet there are apart of our family!!
mom21kid2dogs replied: So sorry Sara. We went through that last week with our 23 mo old dog. It will get better. A well loved animal has had a wonderful life~you should have no regrets!!

kayla's mama replied: How sad We went through this in Sept. with our 5 y/o dog. It still feels very empty in our house without her.
beautifullychaotic replied: Aww hun I am sorry. I wept like a baby when I had to put my kittty Miracle down. she was 14. She had a good run though she wasn't supossed to make it. I got lucky though in her last batch of kittens there was a little guy who looks almost like her so we kept him.
3xsthefun replied: I'm so sorry.
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: So sorry to hear this. I know what you are going through, my dad is bringing in our 16 year old dog to get put down. I feel so bad, but he can barley walk and is not gaining any weight and loosing control of his "bathroom" abilities. I will miss him!!!!
My2Beauties replied: Awww hon I am so sorry! I have such a soft spot for animals, my heart goes out to your poor kitty and you have done what is best for her! to you I know it's hard!
Kaitlin'smom replied: I am sorry for your loss, I lost a cat to cancer, she was the first fur pet I had, she was DH's cat so very loving and oh so sweet. I still miss her.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Thanks for all the hugs I needed them! I was at a friends house last night and she had kittens - I was so tempted to get one. But dh wasn't so thrilled about that idea. We're going to wait a few months - it will be nice to not have to worry about a litter box for once!
