scary news from my bro - prayers please

My mom asked what was going on and he couldn't tell her. He later called her back and was able to tell her what's going on. He is here in California right now doing intense training and apparently there were some barrels of lithium batteries that started leaking. The barrels caught on fire and so toxic fumes were in the air. Apparently, some of the guys have died because of the fumes. They haven't been allowed to sleep long. They are woken up every hour to walk around to make sure they are ok because I guess one guy claimed he was fine, went to sleep, and never woke up. They were supposed to be evacuated today but he is still there. Now they are telling him by Friday. I have no idea how bad this is but I can't imagine it is good since peole have died! @$#! What the heck??? Why aren't they getting them out of there?? I just hate not knowing what is going on. Please keep these guys in your prayers and especially the families of those who have died.

I was actually going to start a thread but I figured since it was along the same topic I might as well post it here to but if you dont want me to I will deleted it but I was wondering if you could all keep my brother in your prayers too. My dad called me today and told me that he heard on the news that there were 3 bombings where my brother is at (in Iraq) and 50 to 70 soliders have died and at least 70 are seriously injured. I emailed my brother just a few minutes ago and I know he cant get on very often but I am just waiting for a reply to know he is alright!
