sleeping thru the night

cameragirl21 wrote: for the purposes of this poll, thru the night=8 hours or more.
just wondering.

lisar replied: Raygen started sleeping thur the night at about 3months and lexi was 2 years old before she did.

HuskerMom replied: Keith started just before 3 months.

hoosier momma replied: I was extremely lucky. John Robert started sleeping through the night at about 5 weeks old. Although, during teething and growth spurts, he will wake up occassionally. Like every night for the last week or so. I will be so glad when this next tooth comes through.

stella6979 replied: I chose 10-12 months, however she still has nights where she's up every hour or so.

PrairieMom replied: I voted 3-6 for Ben, he started sleeping through at about 3 1/3. As for Ally, she is 9 months 3 weeks, and has yet to sleep through. she still gets up twice. growl.gif

amymom replied: Billy was 4 weeks old when he first slept throught he night and he continued from there. I can not remember many nights being up with him. I think God does that with first children so we will have more!! biggrin.gif

Mary Beth slept for 6 1/2 hours on her 2nd birthday! I call that sleeping throught the night because it was the best I was going to get. She is a good sleeper now, but still wakes up and hangs out,,,, at least she doesn't wake me anymore. emlaugh.gif

Calimama replied: 3 months!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Emily was 4 months old, but she was bottle fed. Spencer was about 7 months and he was breastfeed. Claudia was about 8 or 9 months she was also breastfeed.

moped replied: I consider through the night 12 hours - so Jack was 5 months, maybe younger

MomToJade&Jordan replied: Jade was about 8 months old. Jordan still gets up on occasion.

MotherForever2043 replied: Both of my kids started sleeping through the night at 9-10 months.

DansMom replied: Daniel was about 2---and I'm stretching the 8-hour rule. He still reliably wakes up between 3 and 5 and comes into our bed, but he goes right back to sleep.

Crystalina replied: Evan is 3 and still wakes up about 3x a week. Izabella slept through the night right away. wub.gif

3xsthefun replied: Kaitlynn started sleeping through the night when she was about 3 months old.

Maegan she didn't really start sleeping through the night until she was close to 2 years old.

lovemy2 replied: Olivia was 12 weeks - Dylan was 9 weeks more or less.....

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Wil at 4 months and Wesley at 6

A&A'smommy replied: Well Alyssa slept throught the night the VERY first night home and mostly until she hit her first growth spurt... THEN every once in a while she would wake up in the middle of the night for a feeding and go RIGHT back to sleep.. very rarely did she keep us up at night and if she got up early she didn't stay up long so I mostly on and off got good night sleep.

My3LilMonkeys replied: Brooke at 6 weeks, Madison at 8 weeks

gr33n3y3z replied: all of my kids around 3 to 4 weeks

Mommy2BAK replied: Blakely was sleeping through the night at 6 weeks wub.gif

sunrosejenn replied: I voted over 18 mos as Eliana has not done it yet mad.gif

Cece00 replied: My oldest was over 1 bawling.gif

But my younger three all started doing it most of the time by 8-10 weeks, and then were doing it all the time by about 3.5 months old.

Its very rare for any of my kids to wake up @ night, even the almost 7 month old.

I blame the problems with my oldest one with letting him sleep with me at night when he was a baby. I didnt do it with my younger three, they started sleeping in my room in a cradle from the beginning and they are WONDERFUL sleepers. I know all kids are different, though, but I really feel that made a difference.

coasterqueen replied: Kylie still does not really sleep through the night. She gets up at least several times a week and comes in to get us or to sleep on the couch.

Megan didn't sleep EIGHT hours til recently, so over 18 months.

Looking back the time was really short in comparison to the rest of their life so even though I was tired, it wasn't all that bad.

MoonMama replied: Still waiting here so I didn't vote...but he's getting better and does once in a blue moon.
