so what room in your place
Kaitlin'smom wrote: are you most embarrased about??? and wont let people see???? do you r did you have one???? you can admit it I will
mine was my bedroom, now its not so bad.
mom2tripp replied: I don't have one that I don't want anyone to see, but I would like my office to be a little neater
TANNER'S MOM replied: My bedroom..
When People come I usually close the door.. I don't them to use my bathroom..just the guest b/c I am picky about that..
But for some reason my FIL won't use the regular bathroom..always walks thru my bedroom.....MAKES ME MAD..
I don't aways pick up my drawers
KingMom replied: I don't have one, but would also like my spare bedroom/office to be a bit neater. We are in the middle of putting on an addition though that should help take care of some of it. We just need more space so we don't have to combine our spare bedroom and office together.
coasterqueen replied: I don't really have one per se, but my living room embarasses me a bit because we have very light tan carpet (almost white) in our house and the living room has a bazillion stains that we fight constantly but they keep coming back. I'm not replacing it though until kids are much much older. For now I just apologize for them when people come over.
Kaitlin'smom replied: Oh Ihave really ligth tan carpet as well and it was terrible the stains, I called a few places to get prices and times to clean it but no one was convient to my time frame and more than I wanted to pay so I borrowed GFIL's hover carpet cleaner and cleaned it my self OMG the difference was incredibale, sure I still have a few stains but it looks a million times better, now I can hold out on replaceing it longer
mammag replied: Yep, that's my family room! I'm also not going to replace it, especially now that I have Keegan, only to have it restained. If I do replace it, it would be with laminate wood floors and an area rug but I don't have the funds to put to that right now so I also just apologize for it. The only people who see it are family anyway so they understand. I try to keep the kids out of the living room so stoppers by (is that a word? LOL) have a nice room to sit in.
Oh, also in the family room I have the old furniture which the kids (DC child Emma in particular) have torn up big time. I just put a big throw blanket on it to cover the tears but I wouldn't want guest sitting there because it would be embarassing if they came off and exposed the condition of the couch.
coasterqueen replied: We have our livingroom carpet cleaned once a month and those stains just keep coming back, and back, and back and back. We wouldn't have it cleaned so often if they didn't.
mckayleesmom replied: My bedroom.....I leave stuff laying around and rarely get around to making the bed.......And MCKAYLEES ROOM.....that child is a mess....I clean and mop it once a week and she just destroys it or paints the walls...or throws her diapers off or what have it...Right now she has desitin on EVERYTHING....lucky me.
Kaitlin'smom replied: wow I plan on using it once a month but I only have a few stain that have come back. I guess the carpet was in better shape than I thougth. I really did not think it would do much good I was very happy with this cleaner. what kinda of cleaning do you have done steem or water?
coasterqueen replied: I think it's steam. DH takes care of that mostly. They come up really well but it always seems that some of them come back eventually or more multiply. Stains are like rabbits they multiply like crazy!
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I used to HATE my downstairs bathroom. It is in the finished basement, had nasty wallpaper and carpet, yes brown carpet on the floor. Not pretty. Anyhow, I regrouted the shower, ripped down the wallpaper and painted the walls (sponged them) and tore out the carpet and put down lino tiles. I like it much more now. But it still isn't my favorite room. That is Logan's, my parents painted it 2-tone blue, hung a white chair rail and my little bro painted little cartoon ants walking along the rail and a frog sitting on the baseboard. Very cute.
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Probably the master bedroom and the office! I keep everything fairly clean and tidy, but we always leave our bedroom as the last place to decorate. I'm actually working on redecorating it at the moment because I'm tired of it being the neglected room. DH keeps the office a mess...plus the walls are violet because it used to be a little girl's room!! LOL!
mommytoconnor replied: I do NOT like for anybody going in my bedroom unless its my mom or aunt. I keep the door closed when we have company. I also don't like anybody seeing our back bedroom because all it is is a junk room. It looks terrible
A&A'smommy replied: EVERY ROOM I embarressed for people to see where I live BUt when people actually come over it the room that is full of JUNK it has LOTS of stuff in it.. all the extra furniture the belongs to our land lord I always tell jeremiah NO COMPANY UPSTAIRS before his friends come over LOL
gr33n3y3z replied: I would have to say my Bedroom bc I throw everything in there to just get it out of my way we dont have any storage in the house.
~KARA~ replied:
MINE TOO!!! Other than that I always keep my bedroom door shut when we have company. Thats dh and I's "space" and I dont want anyone else to see it I guess.
boobies4virtue replied: We rent a little house while we look for one to buy. This one is in a convient area, but it's near the college so the rent rates are horrible, so basically, it's a dump that's falling down around our ears. I'm embarrassed by the whole house.
mom21kid2dogs replied: The basement! It's a total embarrasment . I refuse to let anyone go down there!!!
NummyMommy replied: Thats how I feel......even if my room is spotless I feel like its an invasion of privacy for people to go in there. I just like my lil haven to myself (and the kids rooms are their lil havens) so we keep people downstairs for the most part. We have people that are extremely nosy in our family (like checking my underwear drawer to see if I have anything risque) so I guess thats why I feel this way.
3xsthefun replied: None, right now really since we are still in the inlaws house. But if I'd have pick one I'd have say the bedroom, if I know someone is coming look at the house, then I pick everything up.
ions_momma replied: I dont really have a room that I dont want people to see, but sometimes I get embarrassed about my kitchen because it seems like there are always dirty dishes in the sink or on the counter! It seems like right after I clean it, that is when DH or Ion decide they are hungary and then the dishes just pill up again!!
Jaime replied: I would have to say my bedroom, lol i just get lazy sometimes
ammommy replied: I have 2, the laundry room and our bedroom. Both are off limits.
Jamielou replied:
My2Beauties replied: Mine is my whole house too It's really small and we just don't have enough room right now, I'm embarrassed for people to come over unless it's family. It's a little two bedroom run down shotgun house that we rent for next to nothing a month right now - so it's dumpy! Even the street I live on is embarrassing, it's in an alley a dead end alley at that, where across from my house in this little gravel lot there is junk piled up from the people that live in the alley that junk for a living. They own that lot so we can't say anything, but it's awful, filled with glass and stuff! Ill have to take a pic one day and show you all what I am talking about!
Mom2Boyz replied: I would have to say the laundry room I don't mind washing and drying the clothes, but folding them and putting them away is another story LOL I'm really bad to just throw them in a laundry basket when they are done in the dryer.
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Laundry room!!! It is not dirty just there is DIRTY LAUNDRY in there! Right at this second I would croak and die if someone came over and saw the whole entire house! I told Tay Santa called looking for volunteer good little girls to send some of their older toys to him so he could clean them up and give them to some kids who did not have any soooo we started going through all of Tay's toys(a MAJOR undertaking) and she stops and says "Nevermind I want to keep all of them. They are all my friends!" What about the other children I asked-"oh well we will just invite them over to play here!!" She wants to share just not "foreber"
