sooooo embarrassing... - any suggestions

So I go over there, and as I am walking back to find him, I sneezed so hard that I PEED!!!! OMG I mean not even like a little trickle, like PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I was so embarrassed, thank god it is overnights and like no one was around... I ended up going back to the car and calling him to come get his food . Anyone know how to remedy this? I'm only 14 weeks and I have never had bladder control issues, man I used to hold it for hours and hours without flinching... I think that is part of my problem, I'm trying to hold it like I normally do but it's obviously not working out so well now
ZandersMama replied: sorry, but thats the joy of being pregnant! Make sure you do kegals, often, and rest assured you are not alone. Really make sure you do alot of kegals, you will be better able to manage the muscles there.
PrairieMom replied: The only suggestion I have is done't sneeze. don't laugh either. I ended up wearing a panty liner.

C&K*s Mommie replied: TBH, from this point on you may encounter bladder control problems, esp with the more children that you have.
Likely too, in your later years as the muscles holding things in place begin to descend you may have problems later with that as well.
IMO, there are many perks to being a woman (e.g. being a mother, giving birth, getting married, etc), unfortunately this is not one.
Use something in the meantime. That may save you some embarrasment.
TheOaf66 replied: I cannot help you with the bladder regularity but I did laugh at your story sorry, but I would have laughed at myself if I would have done it
holley79 replied: Welcome to sharing your bladder space with your uterus. I wore a pad the entire time I was pregos and for about 6 weeks thereafter. There are times if I sneeze hard enough I still wet myself. It's so embarassing.
Jackie012007 replied: it's okay, laugh away! DF thought it was pretty funny too... the worst part? I just woke up with a head cold which means coughing AND sneezing!! lol thanks for the advice gals!
Boo&BugsMom replied: Jackie, I laughed too...sorry . I didn't have any moments like this when I was prego, fortunately, but that doesn't mean I wont with the next one. I hope nobody saw you when it happend. If I would have, I still probably would have laughed. It would be hard not to!
Jackie012007 replied: no one saw... for once I am glad that DF works overnights!
Cece00 replied: That sucks, I've never had it happen throughout my 4 pregnancies. Did you have to pee really bad?? I guess I'd try wearing a liner or something...
