spent the evening in peds er with Jenna:( - and Aron made me feel like crap!

It was 30 minutes before i got off work and i couldnt leave because the parents were on thier way home anyways so i just had to wait. So i called Aron to grab jenna for me. So i grab her from Arons and take her to the peds emrgency at the stollery. They thought she may have pneumonia because of her breathing. so they took x-rays and they came back fine. So they then diagnosed her with Croup. So she has croup once again. And it worsened her asthma that because she could hardly breathe. they gave her a shot of steriods and then they let us go. I then leave the hospital and turn my cell back on. And there is a message from aron. I phoned him back( and its 10pm at this time) and he started gettign on my case. gettign mad because he has been calling for 4 hours and i didnt have my phone on. He knows that if anything was wrong and that she needed to get admitted he would be the first to know.Plus he could of called the er to talk to me as well and he knows this! I know he was worried but he always make sit seem its always my fault! I told him she has croup and he says..it took that long t od iagnose that? in a snotty way. I asked what his problem was and he said k shelly lets drop this! I told him that it took so long because it was backed up and alot of kids were being admitted and having x-rays done and one waiting to have surgery! I then started to cry ( because at this point i was emotional) and i said im going aron. Jenna is fine they gave her meds so im hanging the phone up now. He made me feel so horrible. He has to know that when it comes to jenna and that stiollery its hard and for him to make me feel bad when our child was sick just wasnt right! And he wonders why im all b*&^%$&! You come take care of a whiney, clingey, feverish vomiting poopy child for 9 days straight and see how cheerful you are!!!! I then get home and see that 2 people left messages. aron was the first! And in a very snotty tone says.. ive been calling for 3 hours and your not answering or turning on your phone! Phone me now!

"If you are so DARN (I would use something else, hee hee) concerned about her well being why wasn't your YOU KNOW WHAT here with her?" I mean seriously, he should have gone with you if he was that concerned. Most times around here at least you can't have your cell phone on in the hospitals. Oooh he makes me want to slap him. I'm glad I don't live near him. I'd probably castrate him. Hmm, maybe I shouldn't say that, that's not really nice Karen.

BTW, in all my ranting I forgot to say I'm sorry Jenna is feeling bad. I hope she gets feeling better soon and you get some much needed rest. My sister and I suffered croup badly as children. She was diagnosed with asthma as a child, I as a teen. We both do not suffer from asthma anymore, though, but do of allergies. So maybe Jenna will sort of 'outgrow' it in many ways as she ages.
