time change
Kaitlin'smom wrote: HATE IT. Kait did not want to go to bed last night, first time in sooooo long she fought going to bed, she woke up at 4am saying she was hungry. I told her to go out to the couch and I woudl be there in a minute. I went out a few minutes later and she was asleep, I coverd her up and went back to bed. She then got up at 6am ate breakfast and fell asleep on the way to pre-school.
me could not get to sleep before midnight, storms did not help, and then her up at 4a then I had to get up at 6am. I WANT a nap.
C&K*s Mommie replied:
That has got to be worse on kids then it is for us as adults. I hope she adjusts sooner than later to the time change.
luvmykids replied: It takes me forever to get it out of my head, I keep looking at the clock saying "Wow, it's already 2, but it's really only 1 ...." DH says "IT IS WHAT TIME IT SAYS IT IS!!!!"
kimberley replied: sorry hon. that sounds awful. hope she adjusts better tonight and you get some sleep!!
coasterqueen replied: I totally understand . Megan usually goes down at 6:30 pm and didn't go down til 8 pm last night. Kylie wouldn't go to sleep til almost 10 pm last night and then threw a huge tantrum when I woke her up at 6:30 am this morning (which is actually a 1/2 hour later than she normally gets up). Dh and I both couldn't fall asleep last night until well after midnight, then Megan was up FIVE times between 1 am and 5:30 am and then at 5:30 am she thought it was time to get up for the day. Oh and the storms/wind kept me up as well.
mummy2girls replied: time change doesnt affect us at all... jenna goes to bed like always and gets up same time.. i hope she sleeps better tonight for you!
ilovemybaby replied: Abby has never had any trouble with time changes... but she is still young.
I have enough trouble getting her to eat all her breakfast... I doubt she would wake up 2 hours earlier and tell me she is hungry. I think we will be changing to a different breakfast cereal soon.
ashtonsmama replied: Sounds like a rough night...I'm lucky that Ashton still falls asleep pretty much easily, all the time and could care less what time the clock says... Hope tonight's WAY easier! Get a little nap if you can!
AlexsPajamaMama replied: omg lol my DH says the same thing to me!! I call the old time the real time and he says the real time is what the clock says!! Gotta love them!!
luvmykids replied: We do? Just kidding.
Kaitlin'smom replied: its weird because this is the first time she has been so effected by it
paradisemommy replied: hey you all can move to hawaii..we don't play the daylight savings game..
MommyToAshley replied: Usually we have a little adjustment period, but Ashley was in bed by 8:30 tonight. I have to say, I am kind of liking Daylight Savings time this year. I just hope I didn't jinx myslef.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Just one of those things I miss about Hawaii. The time change has thrown them both off. Jordan isn't going to bed until at least 10.
Kaitlin'smom replied: I WOULD LOVE TO
much better night last night she was in bed almost normal only 15 minutes late blame that on shopping. However she still was up at 6:30a a little later than the moring before so I will take it.
