It lookes like this!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: poor boy was shocked. I guess this would have been one of those purchases that couples are supposed to talk about.
I think it's a good thing I'm cute, he didn't stay freaked for long.
DVFlyer replied: Good choice.
kimberley replied: congrats! nice car.
mom21kid2dogs replied: That's how we get all our cars. Oh, we're just going on a test drive. Next thing we know it's in the driveway!!
MommyToAshley replied: Gratz! on the new car!
coasterqueen replied: Congrats!!!!
Ryan has picked out a few cars and basically bought them without me seeing it first. Although he's always said if I don't like it then don't sign the papers. Every time he knew exactly what I wanted and so I loved them!
moped replied: Awesome car!
Will it work with the kids? Being a 2 door?
JeannetteK replied: Congrats!
bluebear replied: Very nice! is that a Civic? what year? I have a Honda too! Congratulations and drive safely!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: No it's an Accord, 2003.
He took it to work today, and had all his little boy buddies stand around it.
bluebear replied: It's not a sedan, right?
A&A'smommy replied: oooo nice!!!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: No, it's not a sedan. it looks just like the picture i posted. Except shinier. And the windows are fully tinted.
Sam & Abby's Mom replied: Congrats !!!!!! awesome car So,,, I take it you are driving now ??
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Ummmm kinda.
I did a couple runs in a parking lot.. and took it out on the streets pretty late last night.
DVFlyer replied: Wait... you bought a car but don't drive???
I think I need more coffee before I read these threads.. lol
bluebear replied: I know plenty of people who do that!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: LOL
That's right.
I never went for my license...
...well, until now.
I don't know how it works in the states.. but here you need your g1, which is your written test... you wait a year (8 months if you take the courses) and then take your road test to get your g2.. and then you get your full G license, which you have 5 years to obtain before your g2 expires.
I have my g1. I'm legally allowed to drive, but not without someone without 5 years experience with a full G license.
I just never had a need for it. I could have gotten it at 16. Oh well. 12 years well wasted.
moped replied: I have never heard of a g1 or g2, must be an Ontario way.......interesting!!!!
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Oh yeah! I totally forgot it's also governed provincially.
My boyfriend still actually has his class 5 from alberta.. that's like a g2 here. I think. Could be full G.
