unexpected raise.... - and soccer update

J-rod wrote: well walked into work today and got a nice surprise...he gave me an unexpected and unscheduled raise.... so that was cool....just got one 3 months ago too.


also had two days of soccer practice so far. first one wasnt so good. 1. the assistant is a pansy...and he treats them like babies. yesterday i had them all to myself...and really really showed improvement..had two parents walk up and thank me for what ive done already and emphasised "its your team" made me feel good. so we got ALOT of work to do before first game on the 19th....plus im gonna have 5 players inelligable due to practice....but they be good for game 2.

only bad thing about todays practice is my assistant is running it by himself....needed to get the kids a break from the heat...and let them practice in the morning...and i got a big $$$$$$$ project deadline this week so i cant miss work


anyways enough talk about me and my crap.

You sound like a great soccer coach. Sorry your assistant is slack. LOL How old are the kids you are coaching?

That is great news about the unexpected raise! Good that your employer thinks highly enough of you, to do it.

What a pain that must be for your kids to go back and forth with two different styled coach/assistants. Sorry he is such a pansy, but now they know that you mean business and will spur them on to playing well when that time comes.

J-rod replied: she is doing good...getting irritated at the doctors...but nothing we can do there. she is anxious and tired of waiting for him too.......pretty exciting times right now
